I use Fox Farm ocean forest soil and I've also been using General Hydroponics Floraseries which is kind of a mixed bag of different nutes. I also use Kelp, Silica, and Advanced Nutrients Voodoo Juice. So far my girls seem to be growing well. But I've been told not to give them nutes since I'm using Fox Farm Ogranic soil which apparently is full of nutes already. What do you guys think?
I think i told you that. lol and i wasnt wrong. you got about a month of veg nutes built into FFOF, so you wont be needing veg nutes only the last week of veg if at all. like i said, i skipped on veg nutes
yeah.. it'll take you through veg but will need help during flower.. whether via top dressings of organic amendments or bottled nutrients. I've done both and both have worked well.
TBH i'd say give it a half strength feeding of veg nutes when the cotyledons fall off and see how they repsond, but im thinking you'll get claw tips on your leaves and need to flush. although maybe not as different strains react differently. its trial and error. just remember less is always better
Why would you feed it at the time where the soil has the most nutes and the plant is at its most sensitive? FF is specifically designed to feed your plant for 4-6 weeks
Im aware of this. Clearly, BUT some strains can take the extra nutes and want to. just to be safe, dont add anything til flower
