One hitter kief/resin question

    So my glass Sherlock pipe broke .-. & now I'm using a metal pipe (one hitter) I bought. I got sick of always breaking glass pipes ( half the time I don't break my own stuff :/ ). Anyway I'm low on bud but the pipe has resin in it by now and I have enough kief in my grinder for topping a bowl or two but im wondering how to smoke resin and kief without a bowl screen? I don't have any and I think the resin might melt right through back to where it was & the kief might just get pulled through.. Any tips? Thanks

    back when I was a teen i'd roll the resin into 1 ball and drop it in the mason jar i had my weed in and rolled it around in the jar kief and smoked it. saves your grinder kief.

    Surprisingly not a bad idea. That one hitter is gonna be tough with keif because it'll pull right through on you. When I first started smoking that's all I ever used. I made the mistake of packing only keif and then accidentally eating more than I smoked because it would pull through.
    The res ball may clog the pipe like crazy as it starts to melt but it's worth a try I guess. Other than that take extremely gentle hits on the pipe.

    put a filter into the one hitter like a small stick of wood, works for me. I'd hate sucking in herbs after hitting the one hitter so after i put this filter in, nothing got through to my mouth any more

    My one hitter fits charcoal filters in the end of the mouthpiece, so I wonder if yours would too. It's VERY efficient.

    grab a small piece of rolling paper or your best alternative, and burn it to create ash. pack this ash into your one hitter and then pack your small kief covered resin ball, or just the kief itself. enjoy blade!

    Yes!!! Haven't done hot knifes in so fucking long...

    In fact, I have some crumble lying around... I'm gonna go do one right now.

    @op just don't suck too hard and dont hold the pipe straight up and down. You should be fine. Enjoyandlive had a good idea with the filter, maybe use an old bud stem or something...
