Okay so this is my very first grow room. I have attached pictures of my new setup. Built it from scratch but I need some advice on size, lights, and plants. Basically I wanted to know if by pictures it looks big enough for 1 preferably 2 medium sized plants. I've already purchased a 6 inch inline fan and carbon Filter for the smell and I just purchased a 432watt LED light for long run cost on electricity. Will this sized light burn 1 plant? Is it enough for 2 plants? And if the carbon filter is inside the box, will it control the smell in the room? Also will a fan and the inline fan and carbon Filter help with heat? I sat inside of it and it felt like a sauna. No light on yet. Please any help is welcome and appreciated. Happy growing everyone! 1st picture. So just by looking at the photos can anyone tell me if they see any mistakes or issues I may run into. First time grower and I have some really high quality seeds. Dinafem White Widow. Barneys Liberty Haze. Barneys LSD. And some Afghani seeds. Soil I've chosen Fox Farm Ocean Forest organic. Heard it was good. Nutrients..... Thought of Fox Farm trio but not sure yet. Suggestions are welcome.
Here is a better view. The desk I made slides out and exposes the grow room. I can pull it all the way out and tend to my plants if I need to. I've also attached a little drawing of what my box will look like when it's done. Please any suggestions are welcome.
Looks good man I dig it. You light should be fine as long is spectrum is correct. You shouldn't have to worry much about heat with LED but yes carbonfilter>>>fan>>ductjng>>>outside This will cool the room fine. Just be sure u have a hole or crack or something for fresh air to come in to replace the air you exhaust. The idea is to establish neg pressure to control air flow and odor. Looks good man. Your drawing is good. Just add a passive intake. If u can put a screen or other filter on your intake it will help with dust, critters, pollen etc. With your height limitation I would do some serious LST and bending. Topping too. Maybe go 12/12 from seed even.
