I have been thinking about using an ultrasonic mister for an hour or two a day in my seedlings room. Is this a good idea and when would be a good time to run the mister. I'm currently using an 18 on 6 off light schedule in this room and I am using minimal co2 enrichment via a DIY yeast/sugar bottle system. room is 2' x 4' x 5'. I evacuate the excess co2 from the tent using 6" inline fan at the end of the 18 hour light cycle. Would it make sense to run the mister for the 1 or 2 hours before the 18 hour light cycle begins
What is the rh of the room to begin with ? Misters work good I ran mine on lights of at start of flower to get it up to around 70-75 then after that a lowered it again I never took the chance at lights on incase the bulb got it
Those diy sugar and yeast generators are completely useless especially if running an exhaust fan. Your wasting your time. Co2 needs to be ran in a sealed environment so you don't loose it. You can not run an exhaust fan to ventilate the tent, only the light if its sealed. I have friends that run co2 correctly, it needs to be maintained at least 1200-1500ppm for it to be worth while, some do 2000ppm. We tested sugar and brewers yeast in a sealed tent the same size and was only able to maintain slightly over 500 ppm for a very short bit of time. Brewers yeast is way more active then anything you get at the grocery store. That was with it sealed off with air being pulled over a sealed light. Had a large compactor bag over the tent at 1 point, still was a waste.
