Hawaiian Skunk Haze Chronic Juice THC Bomb Strawberry Blue Histepper Bomb White Widow Cotton candy Bomb Berry ICE Bomb Train Wreck Big FLO Sleeze OG Afghan Kush Super Silver Haze Snow Goddess Chemdog sour d Fruit spirit Plants in flower Strawberry Blue THC Bomb Ice Bomb Bomb Berry Soil grow FFO,Happy Frog,Warrior Soil less P/M Nute, What ever I feel like using Style of grow SCROG.. Normal yield 1+ pound per plant. Veg time on mothers 6-9 months Pots, Smart pots. All mothers in 7 gallon, One test grow in 15gallon and the rest of test grows in 2 gallon. In flower Temps 70-75deg, Humidity 20-40% Veg Temps 70-72deg, Humidity 50% Water, 5 Stage R/O System with a 37 gallon rez First pic is the Sun series over two Hawaiian Skunk Haze that just had a scrog net put on them Second pic is one THC in a 5'x5' scrog with three 144x3 over her. Hey CO Finest. Are you the same one with those fresh youtube vids? Very edutaining. Questions from a true noob. First post... anywhere. Putting together my first grow and was looking at the Mars 144x3 for a 2'x4' tent. I would use a scrog with four plants. Do you think the 144x3 would be sufficient for veg and grow for this size tent? Do you think 4 plants is too many? Thanks!
Subbed up, I'm basically in the same situation as blackangel and I'm considering one of those 144x3w for 3 plants. I'm dying to know how they preform, especially with your scrog and 3 144x3w!
Yes that is me on youtube. Just another home grower and no b.s. I appreciate you taking your time to watch. well lets break down your numbers. 2'x4' is 8sqf. 8sqf for veg would need around 182 watts from the wall and flower would need about 280watts from the wall. The 144x3 does 250watts from the wall so yes it will do just fine. As far as how many plants, I would say that depends on how long you veg them. With a scrog or I would say what you were talking about sog it does not matter to much as long as you fill the screen and try to keep tops even on top of net 8 sqf foot screen is all you have to look at for your light footprint.

I have one of those 144x3w reflector LEDs. I use them for my 4'x2.5' tent. I haven't flowered with it, just vegged, but it does a great job with that. Fantastic for keeping the internodes short compared to HPS and even MH. I flower with HPS, but I'll most likely try out the LED for flowering because my grow room has had a major disruption and I had to move things around, but that's another story. Anyway yeah those 144x3w LEDs are great
I'm with Dallas Drone. Pretty much sold on the Mars 144x3 for my first grow... soon as the check comes in. CO Finest, thanks for your candor, advice, inspiration and discount! Those pics gave me chills. I don't expect results like that my first time out but it's nice to see what's possible with the same tools I'll be using. Your scrog setup is one of the cleanest I've seen. It think I'll be going with 3 plants max for my tent, maybe 2. Less to manage and like you said, as long as I fill the screen. GoldGrower, gonna check out your threads. Nice choices of strains. I saw you had an untimely house inspection from your landlord. That must have been stressful. I'm lucky to have a real hands off landlord and a fairly new building. I tend to be the one fixing stuff around here. Then I show her pictures afterward. Seems to work for both of us.
Less plants means less money too grow. If done right more yield and less nutes,soil,pots,water and feeding time. I did not get inspection from landlord I own my house. I got inspected by state of Colorado. I wish it was a landlord lol. I am a caregiver and some how got on there radar. They were not happy seeing such big plants under scrogs with the yieds they make. What I have seen with them is they get paid to find if you are breaking any laws that they have made up. They only found one thing on me and that was I did not have three seedlings with lables on who they were for. They were so excited to wright me up so I let them wright the ticket and made sure they were happy when they were handing it to me when I kindly reminded them They were part of the six plants I am aloud by the sate law to grow for my self (three in veg three in flower). The three seedlings were a test grow from a strain I made so they had to kiss my ass and could not wright me up for nothing. I am sure I will see them again. The Moral to the story is kill them with kindness is a good way to tell them to fuck off.
