Cant find cause or solution. Two weeks into flowering..

  1. Using a single 300 watt equivalent cfl. Two weeks into flowering and these spots are appearing on the older leafage, with some even dying. The leaves curl at tip and the spots necrotize eventually. any help would be appreciated. The web is full of possibilities, but nothing seems to pinpoint it. Soil is organic, amended with blood and bone meal. And banana peel worked in last couple weeks for potassium. At the beginning had issue with fungus gnats that went away after Mosquito Dunks. Thanks

  2. There could be multiple possibilities for "Eagle Clawing" include with that some necrotic spots... here's my thoughts: I love that you're going organic... me too. ;)

First things first check your soil/runoff ph.

    I suspect you're blocking/locking phosphorous.

  3. Additionally might I suggest switching to the Fox Farm brand, commonly available at most nurseries. Also consider using UNsulfered molasses, as it's very beneficial to micro nutrient uptake. And finally replace any water being used with distilled water.

    Best of luck to you.

    Whole plant pictures, please.

    Pot included...

    What brand of organic soil?

Are you still on the same watering schedule that your were using during veg'?

  5. Actually I've reduced water to every 4th day. It's half river silt soil, sterilized and half a combo of miracle grow organic ( I know it has nute content) . Also some pine straw, bamboo leaves, and brewing some IMO to add in.. If anyone here is familiar with Korean natural gardening methods. Last year I had a leaf problem on my 'maters and lactic acid bacteria and IMO seemed to make them thrive anyway. Which does have some molasses therein. I just hate my baby is sick and tomorrow will post a coupla extra pics. Oh. .ph of my distilled was slightly basic so I added cup of oj to gallon of h20. Ph of soil is 6.4 now. Down from 7.3

  6. Oh and I thought Phos or Pott potentially too. Stems do have a purplish red tint. But then sometimes I've seen that in healthy plants too..

  7. Few more.. And bucket size for comparison . She's about 18 inches high.

    Um, wow...

You're talking about KNF technique (IMO), but you mixed a soil using MG "organic" potting soil as a base?!?!?!?

AND you test the runoff (I assume) from your soil to gauge "proper" soil pH?  And then adjust it with orange juice?

You need to spend more time in the organics forum.

You're organic methodology needs some reworking...

Unless your tap water tastes like total shit, use it to water your plants.  If chlorine is an issue, let the water sit out overnight in a bucket.  If you have an airstone and pump, use that and you can have workable water in a few hours.  Don't pH adjust the water.  That's hydro mentality, and has no place in organic soil grows.  Stop with the IMO for now.

Did you actually build your own IMO, or are you using a bottled EM-1 concoction?

You didn't provide full plant pictures...

  9. Made my own IMO. and mg was it for my area within a hundred mile radius. Post better pics tomorrow when I can move plant.
