was out wasting time reading a car magazine. Rs have always been a favourite but damn there was an amazing one in there. was trying to find photos but no luck just everything about them
here Is an absolutely amazing story on mazda rx7s win at the spa endurance race. That's right rx7s and endurance great read. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2015/07/22/motorsport-the-mazda-rx-7-that-won-the-24-hours-of-spa-francorchamps/#more-41744 And a review of the car. Make me want an sa22 even more now.
Im so happy that this is a thread on here. Us guys that are into the older jap cars are limited. I love all toyotas. Id have to say i want to own pretty much everything they built in the 80s and most stuff from the 90s. I have a bunch of pictures from my Flikr if youd like to share some car spotting pics ?
thats sweet i ve never seen a celica like that, never thought id talk about a celica as being a notchback. real sexy
I enjoyed that car. Extremely slow 2.4 SOHC from the 4runner of the same time period. But it handled decent and was RWD
love those celicas actually all celicas! The celica supra from that era is th one you want with the 5m straight six! And absolutely share any pics you have we all love see in pics especially car spotting one's..where I live in the south I absolutely never see old Japanese cars it's sad
For me it's got to be the Toyota Corolla from the mid 80's. AE86 & AE85, Trueno & Levin, I love them both. That little 1.6 four pot screaming it's valves out. Urggh the 4AGE sound <3 People look at us like we are crazy when we show passion for a vehicle, a piece of steel, but to us it's something much much more.
My favorite ra63,4,5 chassis code celica..the group b ta64 rally car with the amazing 3tgte twin cam twin spark turbo amazing engineering in the early 80's!!!
