    Hi there,

Thank you guys for such a wonderful forum. I've lurked here forever and started growing my own and have a couple questions - just maybe a couple pictures to share and get opinions on.

I've digested all the pinned posts and information regarding plant sexing. My plants are now in the flowering stage, and I thought I had 2 males and 2 females but would love a 2nd opinion, so here's the pics:

Pretty sure this one is a female:

This one I thought was a female, but noticed what I think are male parts on it it today:

Here's a pic of the same plant:

This one, I believe is definitely male:

Thoughts and opinions are appreciated. By the way, these were freebie seeds that I wanted to "practice" on so I don't know the specific strain.

    Thanks guys!

  2. Yep, those are boys.  The first one is good tho.  Get those males out NOW!!

  3. I agree - #1 female, the rest are males.

  4. yeah the blades above are right, the last three pics are all male

  5. Thank you guys for the confirmation! Will remove them ASAP. :)

  6. Do it right MEOW!  :)

  7. I'll share this as well, this little lady almost died on me and I saved her with a bucket of nutes and hydroton:

She was nothing more than a seedling with the leaves just starting to show.

Now she seems quite happy. This is a feminized Aurora Indica strain.

  8. Just to let you know any time you buy femenized seeds you have a great chance of getting a Hermie and on top of that if that is the same type of phenotype of the other seeds then you didn't get femenized seeds also try to avoid buying them they are created from over stressed plants and from chemical means
    Live happily

  9. Fem seeds are generated from female plants that are exposed to colloidal silver.  It forces the plant to grow pollen sacks, but all the seeds that are generated are female due to the genetic attributes that are passed to the seeds from the pollen.

    Hermies are generated from stress.

  10. My last two grows hermied on me. I believe I did things that may have stressed them into hermi tho. Also these last 2 grows I used feminized seed for the first time. Does this have any truth that feminized seeds may cause a hermi more then a normal seed?

  11. Yes my first grow was femenized seed big buds / danky doodle and it had a 75 percent rate of hermaphrodites no implied stress, dirt, standard light set up suggest clones or seed. Plus as an older grower suggest learn breeding now.
