How much more efficient is a bong to smoking joints?

  1. Weed is getting quite expensive for me. I live at university, where the prices are 1.6 grams for 20£ (31$). This is pretty much standard in England especially where I live. I usually smoke alone but a lot of the time with friends, and in England, bongs aren't really common at all, it's usually joints. Where most people mix tobacco with weed in order to get a nice sized joint without ruining the weed.. I despise this and will usually smoke 100% weed joints when i'm alone, atleast. So I usually go through 1.6 grams in a day normally. This in combination with my tolerance, is making me smoke more and more.

Should I invest in a bong? how much weed will I save?

I usually get 2 joints from 1.6 or 3-4 if we use tobacco.

the only positive is, the weed is quality haze.

  2. you'd be better off getting a vaporizer

  3. if you're trying to conserve, joints should be your LAST option, basically anything will help you conserve better

a vaporizer is the best option (look into magic flight launch box, I have one and it's great/affordable/amazing) or a one hitter...those are the two best options but hell, any bong or bowl will conserve way more

  4. I'm going to disagree and say that a small skinny spoon will be the best at conserving weed. Pack tiny bowls you can smoke in 1 hit.
I honestly don't think vapes are as efficient as dry pipes, or any small chambered piece. Sure vapes get you high, but some of the cannabis is lost because combustion burns most of it.

  5.
That does ruin the weed. In my personal experience anyone I've ever met that mixes tobacco with joints is an absolute degenerate scum bag. It's disgusting, it's cheap, it ruins the flavour, it's weird, and it completely disregards anyone that doesn't smoke tobacco. I came to smoke a joint, not a cigarette.

As for the bong, it absolutely does save on weed. I would highly recommend getting one if you're on a budget. Although buying it will set you back a bit of money at first you will save much more in the long run. You will find that at first all you need is one good bong hit and you're to the moon.

  6. The real problem is you aren't buying in quantity

of course if you're buying 20$ worth of weed every day you're going to spend a shit ton on weed. Your dealer must love you, small amounts are how they make good money. Buy an oz, chances are is will be closer a $/G price you like, as usually buying more at a time reduces cost.

  7. WAT. what you said makes zero sense lol, vapes dont combust weed and therefore DONT waste any... like burning does... go on believing a pipe is more efficient than a vaporizer huehue

  8. I may have said it a bit confusing. What I mean is that the higher temperature of combustion activates more cannabis.

  9. I think if you look at it like a spectrum of 1 to 10 (the numbers being cannabinoids). Burning activates all the cannabinoids (1-10) but it is so hot that a third of them get de-activated. You still get the whole spectrum but only 2 of each, not the 3 that are in it.  You also inhale lots of other crap like burnt plant matter (chlorophyll and stuff). Vapes just activate 1-7 but you get 100% of the cannabinoids between 1 and 7. You also don't inhale any other shit.

This means vapor is stronger than the same volume of smoke and with a vape you probably do get more cannabinoids in your system for the same amount of weed. But the problem is the vape wont give you any of cannabinoids 8,9 and 10 and they are my favorite ones. To me, they are the ones that get me stoned the other ones just make me high and i don't enjoy it as much.

  10. I think that if you believe a vape only "activates" "1-7" you are either vaping incorrectly and/or using a low quality vape. IME vape at a low temp and work your way up to above the boiling point of the cannabinoids... there are charts that will tell you the boiling point of each and every cannabinoid active and not. As well as terpenes. I think what you think is the "lacking activated cannabinoids" is the fuzzy effect of actually smoking material vs vaporizing gasses.

  11. But some of the cannabinoids only activate above combustion temperature. This is just what i have heard combined with my personal experience with a MFLB

  12. Much more

  13. If you checked out the vape temps of cammabinoids you would find the highest temp is i think (been a bit since i checked them) 450F which will not combust your weed.

  14. Wayyy more efficient. Joints have a great atmosphere, you can kick back and relax. But when I wanna get high, I smoke my bong. Great weed through a bong will have you flying in a couple hits and will taste great as well.

  15. A bong can be efficient, IF you don't get carried away with chasing clouds of smoke and huge hits, which will be the exact opposite of what you are looking for.

If you can get together $200, you should look into an E-Nano vaporizer. It can easily cut your usage down to less than a third of a gram per session, and even more likely, get it closer to ~0.15-0.2g per session. All while being much less harmful than smoking. It is also one of the absolute best vaporizers for use with a bong (with a cheap but good quality GonG adapter from the same seller). That's truly thebest of both worlds. Vaping which helps with health and conservation of bud, AND the bong experience, which is always somewhat fun.

  16. Most dealers I know have a policy of at least a quarter ounce or fuck off. The small amounts just make unnecessary traffic but I guess it depends how low down the chain you go.

  17. This is actually false. I think around 300 degrees Fahrenheit or somewhere around that temperature is the perfect temperature to get most of your thc without wasting any. I've read that somewhere here anyway. Maybe I'm just following false info, but I read that most normal lighters' fires are around 3000+ degrees Fahrenheit and undoubtedly, you're losing some thc to the environment when the fire is burning at that high of a temperature.

  18. Yeah no...

  19. 3000 degrees Fahrenheit lmao that's a knee slapper

  20. You do know that vaping causes no combustion correct? and even if less THC was gained from vaping (which isn't true) you can reuse the weed again to make etables, so really vapes are better than any combustion piece (or pretty much anything else for that matter).
