Is this a good basic vape for starting out?

I've never heard anything (positive or negative) about Easy Vape 5. Personally I would spend a little extra $$ and get something that actually has a good reputation. If you act quickly, for an extra $20 or $30 you could get a factory-second Da Buddha or Silver Surfer from 7th Floor's incredible Black Friday Sale. This would be a "no brainer" upgrade from the Easy Vape in my opinion.

Agree with everything here. The easy vape was my first vape years ago. It will get the job done but there are far better options. What is your budget and is portability a factor?

 

I bought an EZ vape v5 about a year ago for my first vaporizer
 
I had just gotten out of the hospital, and was really wanting to get into vaporizing for it's benefits over smoking. The EZ Vape V5 was cheap and I figured it would be worth it to at least to try out vaping.... The vape itself is plastic, with a rubber tube used as the whip and glass chamber where you put your herbs. After a while I realized the temperature reader was almost always innacurate.. sometimes by as much as 50+ degrees. I would be vaping at a real low temp, like lower than normal and my herb would combust at times. Given that you can slightly control the temp by speed of the draw but after a while I realized I had just bought a piece of garbage as my first vape, but I also realized that it did get me stoned and I do enjoy vaping... I started looking for alternatives and then I found the Arizer Solo.
 
The Solo is a good vape, I got mine for only $160.. My EZ Vape was $99 I believe. I wish I would have gotten the Solo right away as my first vape, as soon I started vaping with it, I tossed my EZ Vape in the garbage.

 

Might as well just buy the cheap chinese vapes than the easy vape 5, they are smaller,work just as good (if not better), and are portable.
