High Grade high?

Discussion in 'Real Life Stories' started by HilltopStoner, Nov 27, 2014.

  1. I live in an unpopular area in the UK so the weed we get is basic Kush and cheese. And I've always wondered what high grade high feels like? The weed we get is 8% thc I think and I've always wondered what 15-25% feels like? Anyone got a description? Thanks!!

  2. Uhh...you get...higher?
It's kinda like you're high, but imagine you're just higher!

  3. How can you possibly know that your weed is 8% THC?

Anyone that can afford to have their weed tested. Can afford better weed lol.

  4. Wouldn't consider something that weak "Kush"

  5. kush is just a name it means nothing about potency..

In dispensaries they have a little sticker that says it.

  9. It's not just a name, Kush is genetics. The results of hundreds or thousands of crosses leading back to the Hindu/Pakistani strains. Potency also varies depending on loads of factors.

  10. Yeah Kush is supposed to stand for Hindu Kush, which I think is a mountain range in India where the strain originated.

  11. Indicas couch lock your ass bigtime and make you fall asleep while standing up lol.

Sativas make you trip the F out on everything like you were on some kind of hallucinigen. I don't hallicinate visually but i hear things and don't know where the sound is coming from when I'm on sativas. And things echo a little bit on sativas.

  12. best description you're getting dude

  13. If your tolerance is extremely low then you can get really high of shitty weed, so it probably feels like the first few times you smoked. I'm in the uk too but every now and again something much stronger comes around, usually something g from the dark net or Amsterdam

  14. except he was not referring to the Hindu Kush strain/variations, also yes, strain has a small part to do with the potency, but if you don't put the care into your plant the end product will be shit, with a low potency, you pretty much just told me what I already know and was trying to say in the first place buddy.

  15. Agreed, the grow is important in terms of potency. But strain has a little more than 'a small part' to do with it. I mean, if genetics were the same they were 20 years ago, the weed would surely be similar strength? Regardless of grow quality, a strain can only be as strong as it's genetics. Eg: The best growers in the worlds couldn't get 25% THC from a Thai landrace plant. Because it's not been selectively bred over generations to be that strong.

He was not referring to any specific Kush strain, my point was that Kush is not just a nane, it has heritage.

  16. It's no different than drinking 12 beers compared to 6. Same kind of intoxication just more intense.

we know a lot more now than we did 30-40 years, grow lighting has changed a lot, we can now easily monitor the nutrient and stress levels, there is also a lot of info easily accessible to on the net, sure strain holds the flavour and characteristics that helps you choose what you like to grow, but it doesn't make a huge difference, people have found unadulterated strains that hasnt been crossed with western strains that when grown right is just as good as all these crosses, the strain just determines the way the plant will grow, the flavours/scents, some strains do have a higher resin content than others or a different chemical ratio than other strains, but you can not max out the resin content without the ideal growing conditions :)

A lot of people will argue that it isn't that much better than it was 20 or so years ago, just more variety, naturally the people who could only get brick weed would claim it is better though.

P.S I'm not really sure what you are trying to achieve by attempting to correct me, we are both right, yet you are only stating what iv been trying to say in the first place, this is not a competition for who ever has the biggest dick, smoke a bowl and relax, my friend.

  18. A dick measuring competition was never my intention man, I honestly thought it was a healthy debate. I completely agree with what you're saying, I just feel you're playing down the importance of genetics.

Shall we just agree and leave it there? 😝

  19. I'm not trying to play down genetics at all, my friend.
I agree, I don't want to get into a unnecessary argument over nothing :) have a nice night mate.
