I have been reading how white widow can be very temperamental with feeding.

I'm hoping someone with WW experience can recognize the problem.

Out of 6 plants three look good, one is a little dark and two are all f**ked up.

They are ready to go into flowering (about 3 months old right now), are in Ocean Forest with 30% perlite, under a 400 MH, in 5 gal pots, watered every 4 or 5 days with RO + calmag (whenever they get dry), pH'd around 6.8 (runoff pH is fine), fed occasionally with FF bigbloom and a veg nute, both at half strength, but have been transplanted every month or so into a bigger pot and had more FFOF added, which should be taking care of the nute requirements. I have actually burned them in between transplants just by giving them full strength veg nutes. Ambient temp is between 60-75F (did get down to 55 a few times over the last few weeks).

Please don't anyone link one of those ridiculous low-res hand drawn diagnosis charts that have multiple drawings that all look alike.

Other grows never had these issues. Perhaps they were just much easier strains.

Thanks so much for any insights!

v This guy is really dark with subtle brown spots. Much darker than the others, my thought was N tox. v

Each of the girls are experiencing Calcium deficit, the firsts pics more so than the last. From your own admission you burned them by over-fertilization, so, when ph drops first deficit expressed is Mg and Ca. Damage is permanent, but with ph sorted nutrient uptake will increase ... plants will be fine.

  3. yea cal and mag deficiency from n tox

  4. They had originally shown what looked like N deficiency, (an even yellowing of lower leaves) and people said "feed them more" so I did lol. That ended up burning them. These guys are so damn sensitive, even in pure FFOF with no additional nutes it seems. Never had this kind of problems before.

They have all been getting the exact same care, why do you think only two are showing these signs whereas the other one is getting much darker and showing the little spots?

I'm guessing the first two are just of inferior genetics, although supposedly all seeds came from the same place.

Could a difference in genetics really cause them to react so differently to the exact same feed and conditions?

Thanks so much for the insights.

  6. Calcium def doesnt hurt em much ive had it all through flower just fine and still got nice big buds. ..ffof also tends to run low ph and the yellow you first saw was prob mag def..you can flush them a bit to get out the excess nutes out and they should be fine they still look good

  7. I have same seeds nirvana white widow and the seed was a deformaty from sprout, i also had problems with what you have. I was having sudden drops in ph, but she is in her 8th week flowering and has some huge buds. I topped her once and lst on her. Plan on 3 more weeks then harvest. Good luck
