my standards are too high

there are over 7.125 billion people in the world. give it time. regain the confidence man, that's what they look for.

 

Do what chicks do to us...start working out like a mad dog, change your look, buy new jeans from Express Mens, get a tan, and post new pics of your changed self on FB looking very happy! You will be amazed at how a positive attitude will make you bleed confidence!

You might have to lower your standards or better yet see the beauty in the unconventional.

lol are you not wanting the same?? You just said you can't bring yourself to lower your standards for a woman that isn't a "10" on the looks scale, and yet you think these 10's should lower their standards for you?? Women go for others things besides looks, its called a wicked personality or money. If you have any of those last two things, looks won't be such an issue. 
 
Thats why there are so many single men, every guy thinks they are entitled to a beautiful model. Be aware that in China alone, there are over 1 million men that will never even have the prospect of a date, let alone a partner. I'm betting a lot of those men have 15000 in the bank, a car, and are nice and kind. There are now more men then women in this world by MILLIONS. So while you sit there thumbing your noses are those 7's and 6's, by time you suck it up and realize you are not going to get a 10 all that will be left are the 3's and 4's and you will be WISHING for that 6 or 7.

Kinda in the same situation. I don't think I'm very attractive to most woman and I'm not expecting a 10 but fuck, I get zero woman. I'm happy with myself. I skate, snowboard, I'm a photographer, I make wicked money for being 19 and still not a single girl.

Whaaaat? You think you're ugly dude?? You look fine, no you're not an express model with a granite jawline but you're nowhere near ugly. Also my friends dad lost his hair in his twenties and he married a total FOX. He's a cool dude whose confident and has a good personality. You just gotta feel better about yourself and start to regain some confidence and everything will be fine. Maybe talk to someone about what you're going through. It sounds stupid but therapy can do wonders for the attitude/confidence. Trust me, I know how it is.

 

Confidence...confidence....confidence....and stayin fit w a good personality are huge qualities.
Some girls are different, but its what ive noticed, and ive never really had a problem.
All ive ever messed w are 8-9s.....

 

why not just shave it all off and go aerodynamic?  That way you wouldn't have to worry about it, and you'll have a new look to try out.

I'm bout to be 22 and I'm going bald I just cut it down with the shortest guard I don't care that much about it though it just sucks listening to lame bald joke like seriously. But u r not bad looking at all (no homo).

Step 1: get swole, dress nice.
Step 2: get some tail (get the 7s in your area for now I know that small city feel) Move to big city for dimes but they are high maintenance and controlling, you have to make it know that you can get more girls besides them otherwise she will brainwash you haha

 

My boyfriend's hair is thinning, it was when I first met him, and it didn't sway my decision. Seems like you're really concerned about it but it's not that big of a deal. My guy always says when his starts to be really noticeable, he's gonna shave it all and just let his beard keep growing out. So I guess you always have that option. 
 
Really though, don't sweat it. You're not ugly, you just need to be patient. Getting in shape (if you really feel like you're not anymore) and keeping yourself happy is the most important thing, because if you feel good and confident, it makes all the difference.
