Do you always see bananas before your plant goes to seed? Or are there other signs???

Even if it started to show signs would you still be able to leave for the 3 weeks or do plants change really quickly ?

    Cheers guys

  2.
What the heck are you talking about bananas before seed? dafuq

  3. Pollen sacks;  "bananas", are shown on male plants.

If you have a female going to seed;  1st you will recognize less pistils forming.  2nd.  You will not smell that sweet smell.

If you are late into a grow;  I recommend finishing the plant best you can.  Some THC content will be lost due to energy used by plant to produce seeds.

Is your plant from feminized seeds?

  4. No idea what you are talking about, but nanners only show up on males and Hermie's. Sounds like you got some weak genetics?

  5. keep ripping them balls off if you only got 3 weeks left ride it out but keep a close eye

  6. Thanks guys, please remember im not a pro so be nice lol :) my mate gave me clones to start with and this is my 3rd grow. I cloned all my babies and had a great success rate. This is how the story goes......

I had 10 plants, one was a different strand but never had a problem before. The other day i noticed the odd "banana" so just decided to chop it (it was just a gap filler anyway and wasn't producing the best anyway).

Yesterday i noticed one of the other 9 looking different, way less pistols then the rest on a couple of the top buds, pistols a lot browner then the rest, smell wise it isnt to bad at all. I have smelt some that have gone to seed before which smell like grass lol and its not like that.

I'm picking all plants go to seed whether male or female?

    Ill put some photos up!

  7. This may sound dumb but on one of the buds i could see a really REALLY small star shape formation kind of like this which is the only reason im asking .

  10. Dont sweat a seed or two, not shit you can do about it anyway.

  11. I don't even see any pollen sacks, carefully take off what's you do see if there is any and keep a close eye on it til or finishes up. Revegging the best one and cut clones.

Look for sacks too, not just nanners.  Keep a close eye on the bottoms of your plants as you have a ton a small growth down there that is perfect for hiding the pods/nanners.  Not much you can do.  Pull the plant that is a hermie to stop the pollination of the other plants.

brown pistils near an open pollen sack (banana) is indicative of pollination and/or pollution (dust, dander, etc)

If you see a female plant with male sacks its hermie.

Check your timer for light leaks, ie, sometimes a switch gets moved and lights come on for 15 mins or so during dark periods.
