I want to find some nice made glass that I can buy from a manufacturer or an independent glass blower. Where would I go about doing that?
If you're looking for artists with decent prices check out etsy. For name brand you have to go to a shop or order online. There are a lot of really talented blowers out there on etsy trying to make a living thougH.
AquaLab offers wholesale inquiries but I'd just contact the manufacturers if you're going that route.
Find the brands you want, go to their site, and contact them. For example I contacted Jerome Baker Designs a few months ago and got some info on wholesale and custom pieces. I found them through their Instagram account. To help you out: Roor: http://roor.de/blog.php/?page_id=1249 Jerome Baker Designs: http://ink361.com/app/users/ig-390162094/jerome_baker/photos Illadelph: http://illadelphglass.com/contact Mobius (Although they state they are not currently taking wholesale inquiries): http://www.mobiusglass.com/contact/ Ehle: http://www.t-ehle.de/eng/impressum/impressum.htm Hitman: http://www.hitmanglass.com/contact/ Good luck.
you can find tons of artists through facebook, instagram, kik, etc. Might as well go straight to the source and cut the middle man
Gotta have an established business with a federal tax ID to order wholesale. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
depends, from a company most likely it'll be required. But some solo artists will put together a small wholesale order for an individual, they usually don't care about paperwork or tax ids.
id find a glass blower with work you like and place a wholesale order, id hook you up with the one i use but he doesnt ship glass to people since theres no good way to ID people and he doesnt want a project pipe dreams incident.
