Mine got really gunked up over time, and the inside of the mouthpiece and the outside of the coil has like a layer of wax or something making it very sticky and hard to pull the mouthpiece off. How can I clean this without damaging it? Edit: included pic
If there isn't any electronics in the top just throw it in a bag of Iso for but Of it does have electronics use a q-tip and ISO Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
Like yoshytsweak said throw the mouthpiece in iso and unscrew the coil and wipe it and the outside of the pen with an iso wipe or cuetip. Btw remember the higher the % the less water in the iso. Save what you rinse it in and make sum claim caps. Ive also heard you shouldnt touch the acutal coil at all just heat it till everything burns off and clean around it. My brothers action bronson micro gets gooped up all the time and im always cleanin it for him
Sounds good guys, I'll get some iso when I get home from vacation. And I'm not sure there is enough for reclaim, not sure how much I'd need for that. The inside by the coil is fine, messy, but fine, so I guess I'll soak the mouthpiece in iso then wipe the outside of the coil piece with a qtip dipped in iso then wipe it with like a micro fiber or something.
Don't worry about the reclaim. Chances are the pen is not made of medical grade material so you might get some leaching. Blaaaahh don't want that. Just a quick wash and scrub out side of the ISO with a q tip. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
