  1. So my dog passed away about 4 years ago. I have not forgotten. Holding your friends paw in their last moment is hard. But this post is positive. My dog is buried on a hill on my parent's property, and I smoke and visit him often. My dog trusted and loved me, as I'm sure your dog does you. We all do small things\\rituals that are centered around our pets. I used to give my dog a fresh muffin after my mom baked them.

How about you? What traditions do you and your dog share?

  2. Wow.. I see now that this was not mainstream enough to catch on. My bad, I guess.

  3. My regret i didn't bring my last dogs body back from the vets
But i was to upset to make a decision

  4. The black/white one was Jake. I watched him get hit by a car earlier in the year. He was pretty awsome, loved his personality. The brown guy is Mac, he was the replacement. Old, doesn't really do anything but one hell of a guard dog

  5. You know, its so relieving when I can look into my dog's eyes and not only physically embrace each other but consciously acknowledge what we are feeling; it's a beautiful moment. I view my dog as a grandmother because even though she is only four years old and is a foot tall, her soul is so potent that I sometimes feel what she feels. Joyful, sympathetic, angry, misunderstood, and happy all over again. Pets are so humble, never abuse or abandon them.

  6. Sorry to hear about Jake. It is totally fucked that you had to see your dog get hit by a car. I feel for you, man...

As for Mac, he looks like a good guy! Glad you got another one.

  7. I agree. Dogs are deep animals.
