Looks like they are severely limiting the cup this year in Amsterdam as an order from the Mayor...Bummer...I will have to check out one of the cups in Washington in Colorado .

..all I could think about haha.

but damn, that sucks that the Mayor is under fire and taking it out on to the cannabis community. It's just political bullshit.

  3. Looks like they're going to hold a police state pissing show. I hope everyone is compliant with every regulation they make and the cops/security don't get to bust a single person and everybody still has fun. Nothing would put out the flame of attempted fear mongering better than everyone still getting high in their faces and enjoying themselves free of legal threat. If everyone is compliant and no scenes are made for the Mayor's office to suggest that his regulations did anything at all, then this time next year, he wont have much support on policing a bunch of stoners and making sure theyre not having too much fun.

  4. I totally agree, I really hope everyone is compliant as well but two things worry me: 1) the 5 g limit, I feel many people won't pay attention and will have a quarter or more and 2) No Shatter/BHO and I know dabbing has become bigger in recent years, but I totally agree if it is a peaceful, rule abiding event it would be a great showing for our community.

  5. On the bright side Oregon, Alaska, Washington DC and maybe even Canada will be having recreational cannabis cups soon. Hopefully the Dutch one can weather the years and survive into a more liberal future.

  6. Definitely. Yeah its infuriating and yeah fighting for freedom is good but we've come far. If ever in WA or CO we get instances of police flexing nuts and trying to make trouble, give them none..

As a community, people who want to keep the snowball rolling state to state, country to country, need to pick and win all the battles. That means being civil over trivial stuff like amount in possession , and ruthless over bigger issues.

  7. It's a damn shame ill never get to experience the real deal
