Need help (Fridge Grow)

Discussion in 'First Time Marijuana Growers' started by Semoir, Nov 24, 2014.

  1. Hey, new here but been snooping the forums a lot for a month or so.

I have an under counter fridge going spare and since I'm tired of being ripped off for poor quality weed I thought it would be ideal to start a personal grow.

For now, I am just after any advice I can get on the set up (lights, ventilation, strains etc). I really want to get this right so it may take some time so I can save up some cash.

Any help and advice is greatly appreciated!

    P.S fridge dimensions are approx 30"H x 17"D x 18"W

  2. It's going to depend on your fridge and space for it, but there's good examples in the micro grow sub-forum of the indoor grow forum.  I've definitely seen some fridges,  but also how people cope with small space in PC cases and stuff like that will be useful reference points.

You'll also see what strains people are growing and how they turned out, maybe get some ideas there, and what kind of lights they used.

I'l try to find some examples specially about fridges

  3. Thanks man. Really excited to get going and can't believe I've never thought about growing before until this fridge came along!

  4. So I started work on the fridge only to find it rusted on the bottom. Unable to remove some screws without causing damage I took myself for a walk to relieve some frustration only to find a new fridge, a better, more modern fridge! What are the chances!? It was dark but from what I could tell this should be much easier than the really old fridge so I carried that shit home on my own. Carrying a fridge is tiresome so I shall continue work 2moro. Peace.

  5. So this is my new fridge, all stripped and ready to go, just need to decide whats to go in it regarding air flow and lighting.
I'm thinking 2 plants using a SCROG, any advice then be my guest :)

    New dimensions are 28"H x 18"W x 17"L
The dimensions are smaller than the original but the new fridge seems bigger
