Hey guys, I've recently been reading about this homemade light bulb vaporizer(If you haven't just type it on youtube and watch some videos). From what I've heard and read it seems quite legit for something made from household items. I plan on making one to save weed and reuse it in edibles. So I'm wondering what are your views on it? Is there ANY health risks, or something I should know before making them? Btw please do not tell me go buy a real vaporizer, because that's not an option for me.Anyways, thanks.
I hate to say that I did this before when I was a bit younger/dumber because I wanted to try vaporizing but didn't have the money for one, and it was pretty terrible? Did I get a little stoned and did it vape? Yes, but with a terrible taste and the worst burning in my throat ever, plus, you look and feel like a crack head doing it. I recommend just waiting until a friend gets a vape or until you can afford one, it isn't worth it.
I've made enough to save you the trouble. It's not worth it. Doesn't work that well and you feel like a crackhead heating up a lightbulb.
Just save up some money, it's not hard I promise. Even working for McDonalds you get $350-390 every two weeks, it's a lot better than a tweaker light bulb vape. It's whatever though, you're going to do what you want anyways.. "Happy Early Turkey Day "
Lol well, I went ahead with it and finished making it and testing it . To be honest, I only used about half of what I usually smoke(bowls). And I got a very nice high. How often should I replace this? Also what are the health risks?

You can use a lightbulb to vaporize herb exactly 100 times. Anymore than that and you run the risk of the glass breaking. Health risks? There are none, you're vaping out of a lightbulb so it's pure crystals and you only get the good stuff. If you want I can make a guide on how to make a vaporizer with a cfl.
Yes! There is Mercury in light bulbs! I know there is some way to get rid of it, but I'm not sure how. If you live anywhere near a river, you would know how bad Mercury is because it's in a lot of fish.

I've made several in the past. As a heavy daily smoker I'd probably have to vape a whole eighth with it to feel anything so I don't bother. I get sick very easilyand often so a vaporizer would really come in handy at those times, I need one of the nice digital box plug in ones. Anyone wanna donate to the cause? Lol jkjk.
