What's up guys! I've read up on a bunch of reviews on this site and have been able to get as far as I am today with my grow. Nothing but CFLs and these plants are looking good for my first time Now I'm just wondering what's the best thing I should do before I get ready to harvest. I heard trimming access leaves before the last two weeks is good and also letting them have a week or so in darkness. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Eh, it may not. But light degrades THC so at the very least do it after your dark period before lights on (if you don't do the darkness period). This allows the trichs to be at optimum potency.

You don't need to flush every week. I flush when switching from veg to flower and then again 2 weeks before harvest. As long as there's no problems with my plants, that it.

I have trimmed branches off plants at all stages of flower and at all times of the day. Before flush and after, lights on lights off.. Nutes and trim timing effect the weed. The rest is fluff. Let her grow till she is ripe and worry about curing her out nice without smoking it up! Nice job on the first time grow. When you set her in her 24,36,48 hour dark period before harvest, I would rip off all the fan leaves. It will make trimming easier and give a taste of useful stress. You don't have enough variables under control to REALLY worry about it beyond that. Ph, nutes, etc would factor in, but it doesn't seem like they are part of your focus.
When should I know when to start putting it in its dark stage? I flushed it 3 days in a row then left out of town came back and flushed it again. She's not yellowing at all so I'm guessing she still has a little longer before harvest. But is that what I'm looking for when I'm about to put it in the dark?
