    Good morning everyone,
I'm having one of my seedlings get a yellowing in the very center of the leaves. I believe that it might be from over watering as there's not much else I could have messed up thus far but I just wanted to see if anyone had any other insight

What type of medium; soil or hydro?
    Happy Frog - soil

What brand and type of soil?
    Happy Frog - No augmentations

    Indoors or outdoors?
    Indoors

    What strain?
    Norther lights

    How old are the plants?
    4 days from breaking ground

What type of lights and how many
    watts?
600w Mh dimmed to 50% 3 ft away

    How far from the lights?
    3 feet

What is your watering frequency and source of water?
Watered once since sprout broke ground before putting under hid light
Tap water left out for 24 hrs

What, how much and when was it fed? NPK?
    Nothing yet

What is the medium/runoff pH and PPM if in hydro?
    N/a

What are the temps and humidity in the room?
    78-80f
    50%

    What size pots?
    Small strawberry containers

    Any bugs? Look real close.
Small little gnats 3 days ago, nothing since

    Any other pertinent info?
Not that I can think of

Thank you for taking the time to look

  2. It's not uncommon for the very new growth to be pale before it darkens with exposure to the light.  Could be that.

It does look very odd, but I don't think there's anything that can be done apart from wait and see.  Nothing seems to be amiss that would explain it, sounds like you are doing everything right.  You mentioned over watering, but unless it's still really soaked from that one time I don't know.

Fingers crossed it's just growing so fast it hasn't had time to make all the chlorophyll yet and it's looking good by now.

  3. I'm certainly hoping that it is one of these two. I'll be keeping a close eye on everything.

  4. Just a little update if anyone else sees something like this.

It never really came to be an issue. As the leaves grow out more, the color darkens uo and looks more green. I'm still seeing the same thing, Al though more slightly. The new growth just starts out a tiny bit yellowish but darkens up pretty quick. I'm still keeping a close eye on everything but I don't think it's anything to worry about.
