How has weed changed your life? )(Negatively and positively)

  1. I'm just wondering how weed has changed other peoples lives. For me, I think me and my mom have a little secret unspoken bond since I've started smoking. We don't smoke together but I've given her weed when she was dry and vice versa. I've met some cool people due to my weed useage. Weed has also helped me get over my depression enormously. If it weren't for weed I'd be a depressed zombie like I was the majority of last year or worse. It's really helped me establish goals in life and see my life in a new light so I feel better mentally even when I'm not high due to these nee philosophies. Negatively, it causes me to kinda pass out at the end of the day. Not literally but around 7:00pm I usually crash for the night just because weed makes me sleepy. I've also gained weight because of munchies. I'm not fat currently or anything but that could be a problem in the future when my metabolism slows down. The only other real negative is sometimes when I wake and bake it tends to make my whole day after I come down kinda sleepy and withdrawn socially. Kinda a bummer when you wake and bake on a regular basis like me. Okay I'm ranting to much I better stop. What about you guys?

  2. I went from a good citizen on honor roll who loved volunteering to a fiend that resorts to stealing car radios and sexual favors for my fix.
But honestly not at all weed was just something to kill 2 hours for me.

  3. Weed "opened my mind" when I was young...and I've still got hippie tendencies to this day....regarding wake and bake...most old stoners rarely did wake and bake as it could crap your "normal day" and most of us worked or attended classes unlike the current hippie stereotype...not saying it was never done...got really stoned a few times on camp outs, festivals and fishing trips but it wasnt as common as today....perhaps the difference being we respected the power of weed just a little more maybe...dont know...

.....and, it was rare to smoke it everyday...."scoring" was heavily dependent on availability which, back in the 70s was more difficult than today because nearly all the dank was imported..."homegrown" was shit because it was really good Mexican or Columbian Sativas attempted to be grown outdoors by some blade in north Alabama and it never ripened correctly...never. I grew out and flowered a columbian x jamaican cross at 52 degrees north but I would never been able to do that without first greenhousing the bitch for 8 months indoors before sticking her in the ground in the summer...you guys really toke it up much more than we did, for sure.

  5.
I've been smoking a long time but recently I started working graveyard shift and with the schedule mixed with smoking I was always tired and needing to take a nap. Well I switched to vaping and it helped me a lot, it's a much cleaner high and you don't feel as burnt out at the end.

Weed has done a lot of good and bad for me but I'm still getting high.  I'm much closer to my siblings and my dad because we get high together and that opened up channels of communication. In 13 years I've learned it's ok to get high as much as you want but when you're life revolves around weed it can be depressing. Jobs, school, hobbies, goals, life.. you have to have variety in life or it gets stale.

I think weed can be a lot of different things to a lot of different people. It's a personal experience IMO.

  6. I've been smoking for 3 years and it has done many changes in my life as a good eye opener and depress reliever .But sometimes it could be a depress source because if u're trying to lose weight and sticking to a diet it can be hard because of the munchies and We all love wake and bake .I love getting up early and drink coffee then just smoke it feels like the most beautiful moment of the day but i get tired afterwards and my active conscious becomes lazy and quiet. So I only get high in the evening after i Finish all the things that had to be done.Never used Vape though cause it is still Very illegal down here and hard for me to get a good vape.

  7. Wow...as a true medical patient, I can answer this 20 different ways. I smoke to help control symptoms of a degradive neurological conditions. Smoking controlled symptoms well enough to keep me in the work force about 4 years longer than otherwise possible, and is enabling me now to continues pursuing education by auditing the local college's biociences program, specifically botany.

Additionally, it makes it harder to be "angry" about my condition, and what it means. I probably won't live to walk my daughter down the aisle, if she sticks to her plans on education and career establishment, maybe not to see my boys finish their first military enlistment. I started out REALLY angry and depressed over that...pot helped me see it with equanimity and more philosophically.

As a result, I'm less aggressive with people...a good thing, as I was ALWAYS over-aggressive.

Iv always been a self medicater. Weather that's good or bad idk. Iv been an alcoholic, and been a heavy user of harder things. Weed helped me stay clean from all the other bullshit.

It helps me sleep, it helps me eat, it helps with depression, it helps with my anger. What doesn't is help with?

Im on probation now. Haven't smoked in about 4 months, but I still feel the possitive effects.

When im off probation ill stick to weed, and stay away from everything else. Maybe the occasional drink in a celebratory manner. Fuck maybe I can kick cigs completely too with its help.

It may seem like im using it as a crutch, but maybe I need one to help me get on my feet.

  9. Mail order. Online.

Also...not a vape, but easy to conceal: Cloudpour makes a dry herb product that screws right onto an e-cig battery. Only 4-5 good hits in one, but enough...and if you carry a typical e-cig chamber, and can switch out fast enough, cop asks to see, "I've got an e-cig, officer. I don't know why you got a whiff of pot. Sometimes it tastes a bit like it, too, but I buy the "green apple" (or whatever) flavor...taste it, if you need proof!"

  10. all jokes aside... it allowed me, and still does, to dream big. the rest is mechanical.

  11. Well of course weed can make me keep my temper cool longer, it relaxes me and sets moods for the situation depending on what it is. But a negative I noticed I'd for one my girl noticed and I noticed that my face doesn't look as "bright" or I Dont wanna say moisterized but kinda I hope u understand what I mean since I came back to smoking everyday. Maybe its because I smoke early then some afternoon n night and I'm jus kinda high all day.And I have asthma but I'm n ok shape but before i started smoking again I rarely used my inhalor but now I use it more frequently from smoking

  12. The herb has helped me to see the world in another light. Before I would say I was an Individual in the world. Now I see the world as a big puzzle that I fit into.

  15. I feel this can be best answered in three sections:
Prior to smoking weed I was naturally a very bright, but incredibly uptight person. I had a hard time relaxing most of the time and found more things to annoy me than not. Weed completely changed this.
Now that I smoke, I have nearly entirely ceased to be the old uptight person I was, but with slight repercussions. I'm much more relaxed now: I can cope with stress without feeling overwhelmed or upsetting those around me, and I'm an overall more positive person. I'm more receptive to new concepts and ideas, and more creative with my own, which is all good. Don't even get me started on what it does to the way I perceive music, or the creative amendments that I imagine to whichever song I'm listening to.
Unfortunately my short-term memory is now a bit shot, probably from possible underage use, my reaction timing is a bit slower, but not by much. Having the most mediocre metabolism I've encountered, I also gain munchies weight when I smoke heavily, but it is usually easily lost within a week or so. The most detrimental part of smoking (for me) is the immense reduction in self-motivation. Sure, I can get high before doing my evening homework, but it's unlikely I'll want to do it after I come down, sleepy and a bit hazy.
Later in my life I plan to continue smoking, however I will smoke much less depending on my daily schedule.
All in all, I believe it can be a wonderful pastime, however one should always be responsible when smoking by considering how it may negatively affect them.

  16. I smoked my first time 2 years ago (I am 25) and I have to say that I am glad that I waited so long til i tried it. I had friends that did it growing up but I never really felt the need to try it.

2 years ago I met a girl online and I decided i would travel across the world to America to see her. She was a big pothead at the time and I decided i wanted to try it.

I saw the world with new eyes. Been a proud smoker ever since. I married the girl I went to see and now we have a happy stoner life together.
