  1. Well here in a couple weeks i will buy my first gram of wax. Well the only problem is that i dont have any kind of rig and dont really feel like buying one because they are pricey. But i was wondering is it ok to just put wax on top of a bowl of weed or is that just wasting it?

  2. If you crumble it up and do a thin layer it will work, but there's nothing like the instant stone you feel from a fat dab. The GC shop is having a sale this week and you could pick up a great rig for $60.

It would be a waste IMO. Just look for a cheap rig online. I paid $40 for mine at my LHS.

Only true way to dab is out of a rig. E-pens are kind of waste too IMO. I have 2 and barely use them. I would much rather wait till I ge home and use the rig then use a pen on the go

  4. You can do it but it isn't anywhere near dab level. For that you need an oil rig.

  5. Personally id say i enjoy melting some wax on bowls just as much as dabbing it. Especially with a bong.  Nothing like a fat bowl with wax melted all over it that just goes forever.

  6. Well i think i will invest in a cheap rig since im more of a flower smoker. I think im gonna go to a headshop and just browse around. Im considering getting a rig with a glass nail with a dome. Should this work good for the occasional dabs?

  7. hotknifes are the way to go man! a knife a camping torch and one of them little garbage tie thingys for the rack and ur good to go!

a rig would be a little smoother on the throat though..

  8. Hotknives are a pain in the ass, the extract evaporating and bubbling all over the place - usually off the knife. Get a rig. You will love the ease of it. But yeah if you but a rig, go to a hardware store and ask for a plumbers soldering torch. The canisters are like $7 and last me a couple of months. The torch head is like $12, though.

  9. Dabs are insane brother

  10. If you already have a bong just get the correct attachments to fit your rig. One of my buddies who doesn't smoke oil all that much has a skillet which fits right into the same tube he uses everyday for flowers. Consider getting a titanium (Ti) nail instead of a glass or quartz one which will more than likely break over time. The taste with Ti is a lot better too and it doesn't cost much more especially if you think you'll be dabbing a little more regularly.

  11. Get a torch and a spoon and a paper clip. Get a good dab on the paper clip. Make sure you can move the paperclip without the dab falling off. Take the torch heat up the bottom of the spoon till it's glowing red. Turn off the torch touch the wax to the spoon inhale the smoke. It's called freebaseing it. Lol. Just take your time with it. You'll get high as Fuck off a dab doing that. Just be careful with the spoon and torch.

  12.

I can't believe I've never seen this before!  Right there in front of my eyes the whole time!  All these years of hash rolling off the sides of hot knives.  I'm going to need to try this soon.  Has to be the best way to poor man a dab.

  13. But yeah man that's how broke niggas dab

  16. post a youtube video of this

  17. Thats kinda sketchy cause the spoon isnt treated to be heated and inhailed off like a ti nail is, but that method is still efficient and would work well

  18. Yeah considering it's stainless steel I would suggest not doing it lmfao

Drew Carver used to make these really cool little ladles that were affordable and worked like a charm. I was lucky to get one before he disappeared from the scene. They were basically a small disc of titanium with a handle -looks like an upside down ladle- You heat the disc and then drop it into any bowl and the handle drapes over the outside of the bowl and hooks it in place. Then you just dab onto the disc and voila!
