  2. they look too clear to me

  3. I can only see 1 single head in those pictures and it's blurred by the background.  Can't tell at all.  Take more photos.  Great closeup and clarity of those stalks though.

  4. here are some better pics. It seems like I need to wait a little. I have one plant with a few amber heads. It's labeled plant one.

THATS What I'm talkin about!  Great pics! :hello: :metal:

They look like they are halfway in their conversion from clear to cloudy.

  6. thanks for the advice. Whats with this guy? it has a good amount of amber heads but also clear trichs. here are some photos.

  7. no one has anything for the last pics. Come on guys.  :confused_2:

  8. Looks like the heads have been ruptured and smashed; bruised buds.

It's really hard to tell in the last pics.  But the one intact glandular trichome head looks clear.  Everything else has an amber tinge to it.  Photo under hps bulb?

  9. No HPS bulb. I will try to get a better pic. That plant seems to have a lot of Amber but also clear trichs.

Get a feel for your strain. When the buds no longer produce(That is when the bud has grown and small crown buds pop out to finish it up) and the leaves are yellow and have given all it energy to the buds you are now ready to harvest.

Most pick to early. The buds should be dense, heavy, and the rest of the plant should be light and given up its life for the flowers.

Trichs mature different all over the plant! Just use the above method and get amber trichs everytime.

Tip: Some strains have short fat trichs while others have long skinny ones!
