Will my seeds survive?

  1. ok so i germinated 2 seeds via paper towel method for 2 and a half days and they cracked and had very small stems poking out. I read somewhere that you shouldn't keep them in the paper towels for more than 3 days so i planted them. I planted the first one about a 3/4  inch deep by mistake (was very sad) and the second 1/4 inch. I have them in a small grow box currently running at 75 degrees and rh at 40%. WIll my seeds survive  or should i order more? and start again

  2. They will be fine and grow if they were any good to start with. 3/4" deep is a touch deep, use a water sprayer to dig some of the soil off the top while holding the cup sideways.

  3. ty kindly, the seeds should be fine, i did have some trouble keeping them at a constant temp while germinating so im hoping that didnt mess them up to much.

  4. also how long will it take for the seeds to sprout ?

  5. It will take a few days. Just make sure your soil is wet.

  6.
And warm, On top of a cable box or DVR in an entertainment center is usually a nice warm place.

  7. its good to put seran wrap over them until the come up to keep the top of the soil moist if theres low humidity where you live...just lift it up once a day so they can get an air exchange
