Narrow Audience: Bipolar Tye 1 Strain Recomendations

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by jfunke, Nov 19, 2014.

  1. So before the vaporizer, the strain for BD1, althogh I know it works well for tye 2 as well, is Blue Dream.  Mostly because if on-work hours emergency use is needed, it is highly effective with the least sommalance afterwars.

Now with the vape, the strain really really doesn't seem to matter too much.  It's just the way my brain and personality works, so I am gathering data on straings, consumption (to calculate savings, I posted on that elsewhere, need to get a scale - so here too I will ask for recomendations) volume to desired effect, to amount used.  But the vape really gives a head-high, which is what we're medically after, regardless of strain as near as I can tell.

I would love to discuss this,  I have been collecting research and evidence, ancedotal and empriacally clinical, to support the effacacy of cannabis against mental illness.  The studies that show it as a protagonist or precursur have been proven fallacies, and it's time.

Besides, I studied everything else too.  The prescription meds for this condtion, at least the ones most widely used, will kill you.  It's as simple as that.  Slowly, but guaranteeed.  And this applies to many other medications, including the maketed-direct-to-consumer antidepressants, and what they really do.  Or don't.  Find an honest doctor, he'll tell you the truth:  They really don't know.

Tyrade over.  For me, the symptoms, and application are:
Depression:  PRN (emergency) intervention & relief
Anxity:  PRN control, Klonopin is the backup.
Mixed (depression and undesireable traits of hypo-mania at the same time):  Complete control.

The other symptoms, it gives me control.  It's no longer a mental runaway train.  And you can manage.  Ride whatever.  And these applications I would think work for unipolar depression as well.
