CT MM/Theraplant

  1. Does anyone have a comment on the CT MM program.  Until this point nearly all product has been from Theraplant, very precisely broken down chemically, some high THC content, but, it is all preground.  No bud, hardly any smell.  Do we like this?

  2. I grew up in Connecticut, but live in Arizona.  We just recently wrote an article about the Connecticut Marijuana Program.  Basically there is now a second cultivator, Curaleaf, that is producing and providing cannabis to the 6 dispensaries.  There are 2 other licensed cultivation facilities in the state so there is more to come besides Theraplant and Curaleaf.

The state requires the marijuana to be ground evenly for lab testing purposes, so it's not the dispensaries fault on that.  The word has been that Curaleaf product is a bit higher quality, but that can all change.  Theraplant's initial batches may not have been so great.  We assume with more cultivators the quality will go up.

It's also weird, but required that the dispensaries can't use the street names and have to call it but cultivation + batch #.  We have a bunch of info on the CT dispensaries, strains, and more on the AllBud.com site too.
