What are some cold hard facts, proving the legitimacy of Medical Marijuana?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by Hamachi12, Nov 19, 2014.

  1. So I have a medical card, my dad knows but my mom isn't accepting of it and therefore does not know.

For the past month I've been trying to convince her as if I didn't have a med card to accept me if I got one (if I end up getting her approval, I will act like I'm going to wait to get it).

What are some cold hard facts, from legit sources that I can use in my 'research paper' I'm going to turn into my mom in attempts to persuade her? She herself used to 'smoke dope' and she says it 'ruined her life'.

I'm very unbiased, I realize that marijuana has more unhealthy components in it than cigs (I forgot what it had, but I know some aspects of marijuana are in fact worse), so I'm hoping that people who are unbiased will answer, as I don't need an answer from someone who thinks marijuana is a miracle drug and a cure all drug.

  2. So let me get this straight: you have a card for MMJ yet you have no medical basis to have one and now you're looking for an excuse to have it? Correct me if I'm wrong.

  3. You should definitely do some research because the statement that "marijuana has more unhealthy components in it than cigs" is incorrect.
