Confused about feeding nutes

  1. OK so I called the advanced nutrients help number they told me to feed week 1 4ml
    Week 2 8ml
    Week 3 12ml
Week 4 16ml. Of each grow bloom and micro per gallon of water the label says 4 ml per liter and no ramp up what should I do

  2. Feed it 1/4 of that

  3. So if they say 4ml just give it 1ml till they look like they would need more then give half

  4. I have them on the 8 ml and it looks good

  5. Because too much nutes will nute burn the plants which is bad

  6. Well all strains act different to nutes so just keep doing what you doing if it looks fine.
You should post pics of the plants

  7. So I am assuming you are a new hydroponic grower. Advanced Nutrients can be a little tricky for a first time grower, I would have recommended General Hydroponic Flora series. You want to start your soup a little weak at first then increase strength. Use a meter to check your ppm/ec. If the ec/ppm is rising in a few days time the soup is too strong, if it drops it's too weak. It's dialed in when the readings dont vary much. I run my soup much below the amounts suggested and have great results. I do run at full strength the last few weeks of flowering prior to switching to water only for the last 10-14 days. Good luck

1 ml per liter to start and up it to 4 ml per liter as the grow goes on (as the plant needs it)

    I use advanced nutrients.

  9. Get a PPM meter. PPM level is the final deciding factor in if your plants like the mix or not. For week one veg (from clone) I start off at 300ppm, then raise it up to 400 by the end of the week. After a week at 400 I move them to 600. After a week at 600 I move them to 800. I hold 650-800 steady (depending on how heavy they feed) through the rest of veg. Flower is different, a bit higher on the PPMs, gradually.
I still measure everything out with a dropper, but I check with the PPM meter after I add each nutrient to the water, so I don't end up overshooting it. Sometimes you may give a little too much of the base nutrient or something like that which is fine, just compensate by giving a little less of the rest of the nutes. Make sure your PPM doesn't overshoot your goal by more than about 50. I use GH 3part nutes btw.

  10. This is what she looks like now with 8 ml per gallon
