What is the best possible thing to turn schwag weed into to get a better cleaner high and get rid of the fertilizers used on it?

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by MedicatedPunk, Nov 17, 2014.

  1. So my friend Paul (he is a real person) can ONLY find schwag/crappy and sometimes maybe some mids weed where he lives.. He smokes occasionally but his highs feel very dirty and intense at the same time. Also he feels kinda psychotic when he smokes even though his mental health is very good when he is sober. Where he lives you rarely even hear about good weed there is only crappy weed that wasn't grown with care.. Also he hears about crappy unhealthy fertilizers used on this kind of weed which has already sent many people to psychiatric hospitals.. But he still wants to smoke from time to time and enjoy it. He just doesn't know how to turn shitty weed into something worth smoking. I told him to turn it into qwiso but he isn't sure if it will be any better than just smoking the weed or If the iso would also take the "dangerous" fertilizers with it in the extract.. What do you suggest? What else could he do apart from not smoking at all?

  2. If he only smokes from time to time, tell him to grow 1 or 2 plants with care, should produce enough to last him a year at his rate of usage.  As far as making bad MJ good, not possible.  If you start with crap it will always be crap.  I don't think vaping bad MJ will help much either,

  3. Yeah but our thought was that if bad mj has thc in it and that's what he wants to smoke then can't he isolate the thc and make some good extract? Even with a low yield... Plus he can't mess with plants if he gets caught he is screwed...

  4. QWISO is the way to go.

    Always.

I've refined my method of making QWISO, and now every single batch produces a higher quality oil than I've ever produced with butane.

  5. Yo check your pms or if you could explain me here your method of making qwiso :)

Any other ideas by someone else on the topic? :)

  6. water curing will remove some of the toxins and if the water is kept warm will not break off the trichomes like the bubble hash process does. so soak it and then let it dry and then use it.

  7. I'd make edibles or a tincture. Qwiso would be 3rd on the list. I've made it before with shwag and it didn't turn out at all with a 20 second wash it was black goop. I'm not s master or anything but I'm damn good at making qwiso. Good in good out, if you start with shit the final product will be shit. A tincture on the other hand it doesn't matter as much.

  8. I like the water curing idea but I'm afraid that will remove some thc especially if the water is warm.. Cause thc is SLIGHTLY water soluble.. And there is not a lot of thc in schwag anyway :p. SupaaBaked yeah Paul could make edibles but my concern are possible toxins from fertilizers and bad handling of the buds.. So eating the toxins won't be any smarter than smoking them.. What kind of tincture would be ideal tho?

  9. Your friend is obviously you lol

  10. No he just asked me to make a question here.. And I care about him lol..

  11. I want to smoke some of that.

  13. Concentrates and edibles are your only choice.

  14. Your stomach would handle fertilizer better than your lungs. Your lungs are just your lungs, your digestive track is complex.

well, as the cannabis plant grows the phytocannabinoid is bred in a water like environment so exists without being broken down by water = not water soluble.  keeping the water warm at all times will keep the trichomes in tact and not cause them to break free from the plant matter. if you use cool or cold water the thrichs will break free and be in the water mix. with the warm water you might loose a small amount of decarboxed compounds to the water but such a small amount.

  16. Yeah that's a good answer... So what's the ideal temperature range?
