I just got my new Smart-Dabb nail in the mail today and set it up. Upon trying to inhale, a huge ass flame will appear above my nail. I read that this is due to concentrates made with butane, but is it going to do that with any concentrate made with butane or does my oil just have an excess amount of butane left over?

No crackle. No heat settings either . It stays around 750 lowest and 1050 hottest. It idles at 1050 when you just let it sit, but generally is at 850.
butane or iso or whatever there all flammable so if its left over that could happen... or well it did so ya it can and will if theres enough of it lol im pretty sure if you poke around the incredibile herb or stash jar fourm and find some guides on making the oil you could just skip to the heating to rid the leftovers out it would take a long time since its one of those slow process thingys but its a lot better then having something blow up in ur face lol

Also, when I touch the effin titanium dab stick to the nail the nail shocks me through the stick! Why?! Someone suggested it wasn't properly purged, but it doesn't crackle when put to the nail. Someone else suggested adjusting the temperature setting, but it doesn't have a temp setting. It stays between 750F(Lowest) and 1050F(highest) when it's just sitting idle.
your wax is shit and your e-Nail is probably broken. I wouldn't continue to dab on that, id send it back for a full refund, and buy myself a regular torch and nail
If you are getting shocked there is a problem. Call the manufacture and let them know whats going on and ask them it thats normal,
Those smart dabb machines are a bunch of crap. Seriously a piece of shit someone who didn't care invented to make a quick buck. No temperature control, directly linked to the thermalcoup. When a good enail is set to 700 the nail itself will be around 400 degrees and if it's set to 1000 it will be running around 700 on the nail. Your nail starts at 750 and has a high of 1050?
