  1. This is my second attempt at growing a single plant and lost the first to what appears to be the same issue

you're burning them, i can see a few N claws in that picture as well as burnt tips

back off the nutes a lot and maybe you're over watering too?

  3. Add more perlite, the soil is to 'hot' too may nutes,
a better light will improve her too

  4. give us some more details? lights, ventilation, nutes, space.. it'd help more

  5.  Sorry about the late reply but its a 1 moth old sours plant straight from bagseed. it's in FFOF (Fox farms ocean floor) so I figured nutes wouldn't be necessary for veg. its about 4 -5 inches under a 125w 6500k cfl bulb in a smal lcrawl space under some stairs . the crawl space is about 24x36x48 all in inches (WxLxH) the temps are usually 74 to a not constant high of 84 and the humidity stays usually at 30% but ranges from 15-50% . also have a small 6" fan blowing almost directly at plant and aiming towards door.

the symptoms are yellow/ brown spotting and dried shribble leaves towards the botton , new growth is green and nice.

I plan on getting a 300w apollo horticulture led panel from amazon along with a small grow tent . probably the smallest which is 24x18x36 i believe in about 2 weeks to start flowering.

  6. I wouldn't suggest led, especially for flowering. id suggest getting a mh/ hps setup. especially if you have a tent.

  7. nah man, I have a 2.5 by2.5 tent. I have a 600w hps dimmed to 450w I have a 4" fan and 6" fan on bottom, plexiglass sheet bout 5-6 in away from light, and two mini fans. And I gotta say temps are amazing, same with humidity.

I have a 150w hps with two fans inside and one 6in inline exhausting and there's heat, there no debate, it's hotter than the rest of my place, the bottom line is you're still putting a heater in a tent weather you blow some hot air, the lights just gonna warm up more, and unless you're exhausting outside i'd think it's just cycling hot air no? I used to use a 400w but don't have the option to exhaust outside anymore so heat is a massive issue, my tent is 3x3. Im quite curious in some of these high end LEDs i hope they take over eventually, now you're getting +5w single leds opposed to 1w, the kelvin temp is more accurate thanthe hids, just not as much penetration yet... but i think they are making huge steps in that technology

if sparky wants to spend almost a grand on light balalast cooltube reflector two inline fans a filter and proper venting sure it'll be fuckin awesome, but he could just buy a fuckin led and do really nothing else, and ive been following these good led light grows, theyre better than what i am with a HID.... old people cant adapt to new shit

does your Plexiglas sheet act as a ghetto cooltube or is there another purpose?

  9. Here's what I did because yes I had the same issue at first. Go to a hardware stor and pick up a sheet of styrofoam board, there's even good ones that have reflective surface. Anyways scoot your tent by a window. Take the styro foam and cut two panels that are 8-10" by th height of your window. Put the two panels together, tape up the bottom and top to keep them in place. Cut as man holes and right sized holes for however many ducts you have. Now, use electric tape and tape up the whole side that will face out the window so it all looks black. Situate the ducting into the holes. Then place it in the window and close window to hold the panel in place. And you're done. I you have a screen on your window then it'll just look like a big ass speaker. Here's mine for example. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1416764154.751487.jpg

Keep the top fan sleeves open with cardboard cut to size. Because there's so much air being pushed in its forced to flow out the top. Hope this helped man. Send a pic of your setup and I can help. 11. Also go get like a picture fram with flimsy plexiglass instead of glass. You can use normal scissors to cut it to size. (Pop out the plexiglass first) once it's cut to size get a screwdriver (flat head) heat up the tip and use it to melt little holes in each corner then use whatever you want to fasten each corner to each pole. I personally like zip ties the best because they're cheap and you can slide the plexi up and down to see which height effects temp better.

  12. Pretty much a ghetto cool tube. I get home later today but when I do I'll update you with pics of how my setup works.

  13. Oh and to people who say plexiglass fuk with the light too much or burns, no the fuck it don't haha. My plant is loving it. Also if your plexi can dip down a little it'll just magnify the light but not the heat.
