I just finished my first grow, it was a cutting of Dream Queen. I got about 2 ounces total from two plants. Pretty sad amount per plant but the weed is really good. My wife said it was the best she ever smoked, smooth an powerful. I am now growing from seed, I have some pics below of my Vortex seed grow. they look real happy and will be even more so when I give them there next watering with nutes. I popped the seeds in some Rapid Rooter plugs, took 2.5 days to fully show. It is now less than a week an they are looking great. Very healthy and nearly 3" high at 6 days from seed. I will post more as the growth develops. John M.
I forgot to add that I turned one of my pots into an air pot by drilling tons of small holes in the side of it. We will see if it makes an difference, the other plant does not have the holes. I am using Blue Planet Nutes for this and my next several runs, I will be switching to super soil ones all my nutes are gone. Please let me know what you think.
There's a little more to airpots than lots of holes in the side but I'm interested to see how this go's. As for the wife's comments, hold onto that gal....
If you dwarfed the plants, like a lot of home growers indoors have to, an ounce a plant isn't too very bad. I had been having to flower mine when they got to between 24 and 30 inches tall, and bushed, and was getting an ounce to an ounce and a half per plant...like you, EXTREMELY high quality (as in the stuff that went to the dispensary never made it to the shelf, the manager bought it all for himself). DEFINTELY hold on to the gal, though.
I am just hoping some of the roots will air prune, improve the root structure. Thanks for the comments.
These look textbook, IMHO. I am very happy and not surprised that the pot I drilled out is doing way better than the one that was not drilled out. I have fed them twice now (today, last week) and I will most likely only water them the next time, depends on their color. The one plant with the holes drilled in the pot is going nuts. These guys were put into a rapid rooter on the 8th of this month, now they are dominating the 1 - 1/2 gallon pots they are in. I will be transplanting them in a few more weeks, they will be put in 10 gallon smart pots. I am really geaked to see what happens with them. As of right now they look great. I am using Blue Planet organic nutrients and properly PH'd water. The run off looks a bit more acidic than the water I have been feeding them with, I will keep it a 6.8ish ph to level it off soon.
Iook good. Throw em in 5s when they really start dominating the 1s Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using Grasscity Forum mobile app
Don't top until they're at least 4 nodes high...then top just above the third. You want to ensure the lower stem is strong enough to support the TWO that will appear every time you top.
Here is an another update, if you guys think this is too much too quick then please let me know and I will do weekly updates. Looking good and just topped and fed yesterday. They are luscious and healthy as hell.

Bit of an update, was using iguana veg and bloom with the rest of blue planet farmers organic line but it seems to be causing issues. I knew this might happen because of the #-#-# numbers were very different. I bought the other two from blue planet so it should correct itself, plant still look nice though.
Your still vegging, right? Should hold off on using bloom till two weeks into flower. Using bloom in veg is just wasting nutrients and also raising ppm without giving them the nutrients they need. Just my opinion, Blade. Plants are looking good. Cheddarheads Unite! http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-medical-marijuana-growing/1342492-growing-cheddarhead-cherwillie.html
