Hi Everyone, I have been a member here for a long time, I used to be a member of treatingyourself forums too, but they changed structure and I had not posted there in a long time so I lost my forum name. I'm also on rollitup but I'm Indica_Angel over there. I have started growing again and just feel like connecting with other people that share my same passions for cannabis. 44 female, I am a medical marijuana patient. Fibromyalgia,CFS,Migraines,IBS and some other stuff. Without cannabis I was on disability and unable to do much because of pain and being constantly sick to my stomach to the point of dry heaves every morning, every day. I cannot take narcotics I am allergic to all of the codones and phines and all that stuff, was just in ER a week ago for a severe reaction to hydro. ( from going to the dentist). I found cannabis about 6 years ago, I had a huge migraine and my neighbor suggested I try some of his, he is Native and grows on his reservation. I was like no no I can't it makes me sick.. I had tried before in my youth to use marijuana and had ill effects from it. I was clueless that there were different kinds and some caused things others do not, much like other medications. I am sativa sensitive and must stay away from 100% sativas because they seem to make my nausea worse and they cause me paranoia. I have learned this about myself, the benefits were amazing however when I tried my friends stash. my headache just kind of melted away, I felt all floaty and the nausea .l.. what nausea? It was like a miracle for me, I went from all these meds that didn't help much, only made me worse to now 6 years later I am as healthy as I think I can be, right now. I am working and supporting myself again and growing my own supply. I had to stop growing for about a year, I just didn't have room. But when my supply ran out, I had to buy from a dispensary and that was just.. ugh! So I bought some LED's since my 600watt was just too much for the small space I was in and I'm back on my growing wheel. My dream is to just grow cannabis and live in fields of it and forget the world exists. But that's not possible, so like I said it's a dream. Say Hi anytime, I'm here to connect with people and socialize because I do not get to do that where I live, my family understands my need for cannabis and while they are supportive, it's like this secret everyone knows but no one talks about. I talk about it every chance I get and I am not now nor will I ever be sad, or ashamed of it. But that's how it feels they think of me sometimes, so it's nice to be around others that do not feel that way. I can share my grows and my joys with others that do the same and be happy about it. So that's why I'm finally posting after all this time lurking. Have a wonderful day! here is a pic of my current plants, they have been through the ringer,a tent fell on them when we were doing some work on the electric and then a move last week to a new place. They have managed to come out OK though. I lost a couple with the accident, these three girls are what I have left in flower.
Welcome back long lost blade, your story is a great one to hear. the fact that cannabis can heal you in ways (naturally) than the latter can really warms my heart.
