So here's another question of mine, and before I ask I must note I am 100% serious about a solution. Do not ridicule me for this, I am only a toking simpleton like yourself. The question is this. I destine to make myself shorter, contrary to the ugly stereotype tall people are wrapped in more benefits than shorter people. With shoes, I come up to either 6 1 or 6 2 (6 2 if the shoe is raised). But I find it demeaning that to some of my friends, I have to look downward to maintain eye contact. My destined height is 5 6-5 8. What way would there be realistically going about doing this? I know there will be a lot of pain, finanically consuming, and outpatient rehab, but for the good of self confidence and way of life, I have determined, looking at other options, this is the best way to go. So any suggestions? Any help is extremely appreciated and I am grateful for it. Thanks.

hmm considering the sort of medical procedures that ive heard of here in the US, i wouldnt be surprised if this was possible....they can reassign sexes, i dont doubt that that they cant trim you up a little....
Ah, are you talking about Toy Story when you said "the disney movie"? Yeah, my whole perspective over Disney and Pixar for that matter changed when I found out how overshadowed Balto became. I know I've heard of surgery to do this, but I haven't been able to find any estimates as to how much it will cost.

Does anyone know if they do this surgery in the UK or Australia? Mmm, I've seen some posts that have made me simile, but all making light aside, doing that would result in too much loss of blood and most likely I couldn't fuse the bones back together. I am prepared to leave the country to have this done, just to a country I know the language in, can afford it in their currency, and where Americans are more welcome.
If you're willing to cut off your legs to be a couple inches shorter you have some serious self-esteem issues you should sort out. If its not your height it will be something else.
They do it but its for normally for kids that have bones that won't stop growing or won't grow properly. Not people that want to be shorter. Again man, 6'2 isn't that tall unless you're in Asia or something. Even then I'd think that's cultural and you will always be "American" or a minority. Either way, you're better off getting comfortable in your own body than spending thousands of dollars on possible medical complications.
While yes, a lot of the time it is performed on adolescents, they usually like to wait until the bones have finished growing, or the plates have closed, which is normally not finished before the end of puberty. And I wouldn't spend money until I knew I could get the surgery. It would be a waste of funds, my time and theirs.
