  1.  I WAS WONDERING IF MY PLANTS WILL SURVIVE BY THE WINDOW WITH ONLY SUNLIGHT FOR 5DAYS. I AM ORDERING ANOTHER ONE! THATS MY FIRST QUESTION. SECOND QUESTION IS. MY OLD BALLAST WAS (PF>0.97) AND THE NEW ONE IS (PF>0.99) WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE, AND WILL IT WORK ?

  2. IM NOT SURE

jk your plants are fucked :D

    NOW EVERYONE START YELLING YAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

  5. YYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

  6. At least get them some SHOP LIGHTS my DUDE..

  7. okay. I figured out the ballast part.  the pf<0.97 is just a new model, I called the ipower grow company.. so that is that.. and yeah I am getting light into my room with some flourascent tubes I have and a couple cfls for now. my plants are huge so will see how that goes.

  8. Did it just stop working?

  9. joytech. thank you for your positive energy! seems like you need some weed man, what, are you out? need some weed brotha? haha something I do have is mason jars full of marijuana :) !!!

  10. mountainbeacher: no it didn't. I noticed a burnt smelled in my flowering room a few days ago, I couldn't fine anything that was burning. yesterday a few hours before lights off, I walked into the flower room and I notice the light off, so I checked and found the ballast on the input cord burnt on the ballast side. I am surprise it didn't catch on fire! so yeah my fucking ballast burnt out(literally)

  11. I already order a new one! it should be here on or before Thursday!

  12. Slight confused by your post as a was very high when I STARTED YELLING IN MY TEXT, BUT YOUR PLANTS WILL BE FINE, OUTDOOR GROWS LIVE BY SUNLIGHT, A 5 DAY SUBSTITUTION FROM INDOOR/OUTDOOR WILL NOT KILL YOUR PLANT, IT WILL BE OK, I WOULD SUGGEST GETTING SOME SHOP LIGHTS AT LEAST THOUGH. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR GROW.

ALSO CHECK THE GROWING SECTION VS, THE TOKER'S Q&A, YOU WILL AVOID KNUCKLEHEADS LIKE US WHO LIKE HAVING FUN WITH POSTS.

  13.  lol okay, joytech, thank you!

I have 2 spare ballast and 4 spare bulbs for my 2,000w grow. Order 2 ballast and keep a spare on hand. an extra $100 is NOTHING!

My real nice one is a Thunder brand and is real nice with the 115% overdrive.

Its also sweet to have 2 1,000's over a grow anyway, talk about fat ass plants.

  15.  yeah I am. it is a very good idea. extra ballast. lol . yeah bro I am a beginner, pretty much. just growing in a closet for now. hey so my plants will be fine until my new ballast gets here?

  16. maybe... lol it doesnt look like too much sunlight is getting there

  17. THERE BUDDING!!! U might get seeds if u don't keep the light schedule close to what it was. U still have them on 12/12 right?

  18. @soviet buds.. they been having lights already. leaves did suffer a little bit, but all plants are healthy. tell me more about the seeds though man. I mean I been having problems with some seeds in my buds, which I don't really mind, but maybe I can know the reason.. I for some reason get seeds, maybe like 6 seeds out of oz and a half. I don't have any male plants, I was told if I had to many fans blowing, it will cause them to stress, and produce seeds.. can you explain your theory a little bit more..

  19. Sorry been a while. Any difference in the light schedule during flower will stress the plant. If stressed enought the plant will produce seeds/hermy. That's with nute stress no water stress and light stress. Havnt really had issues with fan stress causing seeds just wind burnt leaves. Slight light leaks during the dark period will cause seeds. The reason I mentioned it was because ur ballast went out and u put it near the window. So the outside sunlight was not exactly the same light schedule as you were running the plant at. Not counting if u turn on the light in the room when it's dark. It's just a lot of stress overall on your plant.
