Am I the only.one who thinks its odd to celebrate the stock market collapse by shopping? Or do I misunderstand the subject -yuri
The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving.Use of the term started before 1961 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation was made: that retailers traditionally operated at a financial loss ("in the red") from January through November, and "Black Friday" indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or "in the black".
I'm going Black Friday shopping I'm going to wake up at 4am, smoke a sweet of some green crack, white willow and White Russian....maybe one more strain if i get something good And go to the mall I'm going to go watch all the crazy stupid people fight over everything to save $5 on a toy I think it is interesting watching the dysfunction and craziness And funny lmao And who knows, maybe I will come across a good deal on something I need at somewhere I don't have to wait in a long as line at
i think that's why people do it. shopping on black friday is just a stupid thrill thing to do... like swimming with the sharks... i'll watch it from a distance, but won't participate.
And the Lord said: Thou shalt save money on black friday, so you may purchase extra bags of green for thou self. But if thou wishes not to participate, the Lord asks that you buy extra bags of green for those less fortunate.
I thought it was Black Tuesday ? In any case , I love black Friday it caters to my frugality and makes me feel accomplished as a whole I clean table ... I clean mouth ... You breathe deep
As long as you realize you can get the same deals online, in your pajamas, with free shipping and no gas money... Then you go with your frugal self!
I always manage to buy sweaters and shit that never really fit properly. I hang to them for years and eventually it all goes to charity.
There is some good deals but idk about killing yourself for 20$ a 50inch tv http://forum.grasscity.com/outdoor-grow-journals/1330858-we-want-fire.html
Only really started doing black friday in the UK for the last 2 or 3 years. It's not like the US black friday because everyone joins an orderly queue and waits their turn. It's an exercise in patience and getting up early, as opposed to a competition in retardedness. Plus, most of it is online here.
