Anyone else pumped for this coming season. Love going for a nice toke and ride. This is a thread for anything to do with snowboarding including gear, conditions, etc. I'll be getting a new setup sometime soon, will post it when I do.
So stoked for this year! Didn't get out and ride as much as I wanted but my new gear is so amazing! I switched from some cheap K2 bindings to a pair of Forum Shakas (with the hinge plate) and it's amazing how good they feel to ride.They're hard to get now but if you can get your hands on 'em they're totally worth it. Makes my already surfy fun board (2013 Capita Horroscope) even more amazing. Almost feels easier too because you can really twist into your carves. I wasn't smoking at all last season so that'll be a fun experience this year! Anyone else on here have plans to build a small (or large) park in their yard? I nearly finished a 30ft long halfpipe last year and have plans to use more then a shovel to make one this year.
Just ordered the burton clash board and burton infidel dangerine bindings the bindings look pretty sweet and the board is pretty cool too.
Yo I love snowboarding dude right now since it's not cold enough for snow, (at least here in northern NJ). I ride a board called a Freebord. Yes, "BORD", is spelled correctly, they did that for some reason, idk. Sent from my iPad using Grasscity Forum
Haha I live in buffalo so Ingot like 6ft of snow this week and the local ski resort just opened, hoping to get a ride in this weekend.
