Decarb Question

    So I'm stuck in a cabin with only a hotplate and a pot with a lid. I want to take this ounce of good weed, this pint of 151 rum, and this mason jar and make me some awesome tincture but I know that I need to decarb my weed first.
     
    Question:
     
    Can anyone tell me how to decarb my weed using a small pot, you know, like the kind you cook sauces or ramen noodles in with a lid, and a hotplate? Temperature reading is impossible, no thermostats and the dial on the hotplate sets to Low, Med, or High :D
     
    I also have a small freezer here, I have read that you can decarb weed in the freezer. Is this true?
     
    These are my only two options, that I know of, for decarbing my weed.
     
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Wrap in tin foil, toss tinfoil on hot plate on lowest settin, flip periodicly

    If you can get your hands on an oven bag you can seal the cannabis in the bag and float it in a pot of boiling water. Water boils at 212 F.
