One more question for you, and i appreciate it. Theres not much to LST but i started it, picture below. So my question is what exactly am i achieving by LSTing so early since there isnt much growth. LST was started last night and already curving upward toward the light.
This is ok, but you do need to pull down more. The reason for this is because the top of the plant is the 'dominant top' and when you pull this dominant top down by 90degrees or more the 'Auxins' in the plant will rush to lower branches causing them to grow like crazy and try to become the new dominant tops. Auxins are the plants growth hormone. By performing LST you will be tricking the plant into creating more tops, thus more buds. I would personally try to pull it down lower and try to keep the main stem horizontal heading for the outside of the pot, then you can tie it in a circle around the pot. Check out my journal and the first part is off a small CFLS grow of a royal queen seeds northern lights autoflowers. It was under 126watts of cfl and yielded 65grams dry. I'm used LST and start around 7 days old, it was a bit bigger than your plant. But when I'm not lazy I start at that age. If that's a stake your using then bung that into the soil and tie off it with string to the plant. HeadChef offered great advice and another reason is that your many top colas will get light more evenly. If you check the purple auto in this thread you can see what happened with no training at all.....I had to keep raising my cfls to clear the top cola; leaving the side branches behind. My yield suffered a quite bit on that one. If you pull that one down to the dirt and then around and round the pot, you will have a nice bushy plant. Just remember to be gentle and massage the stems a bit and also a twisting motion while bending method really helps with autos.
Shits getting sticky as a mofo, and is really starting to stink! I have smoked some and it gets me high as fuck but not as agitated as the purple made me, I'd smoke that and then couldn't get to sleep. If I smoked some and then went to sleep; I would wake up a couple hours later like this which is strange since it was an Indica, obviously I harvested it too soon. The pink diesel is more pleasant and I can go to sleep if I need to, or get shit done if needed. I like it.....
I tried a bud of that Kaliman Cheese #1 this afternoon for my eye-opener. Very nice and smooth buzz for being at about Day 40 more or less, and only dried overnight. Wasn't harsh at all, but I was only taking tiny bong hits. I'm not wild about weed that winds me up like you're describing. So far, I'd definitely recommend that Kaliman Cheese #1 strain if you're looking for smooth. Can't wait until she's finished up.
I got my filter today and installed it, instantly lost my negative pressure in the tent . I may have to constrict the intake hose a bit to get it back. The lights went out as I was installing the filter, so not sure yet if I'll have heat issues with less airflow. The smell from the exhaust is gone now, so I'm happy. I also took a couple of clones today to try my hand at it. I took one Alien Diesel Berry and one Quin N Tonic, for no other reason than to see what will happen since I have more than enough plants in veg at the moment. edit: I forgot to mention that I'm soaking some corn kernels to make my very first SST, can't wait to see how it works! I'm using PokeSmots method, it seems to work great for him. I'm running low on some of my nutes, so if I can get some experience now with the teas I won't need to buy more nutes in the future.
Fwiw you may want to look into using malted grains for your sst's in the future. They are a lot less hassle to work with and contain all the enzymes and other goodies you are looking for.

I just got these in the mail, 4 x Iced Grapefruit! They were pretty stealth about it, they took a hole punch and made four holes in a piece of cardboard put the seeds in it and then taped it. At first I didn't see them and then I held it up to the light. You can see them in the upper left of the pic.
I went ahead and chopped the last one. Hung it in the tent for lack of a better place. The buds on this one are quite a bit larger than the others. And, just as I suspected, there is only room for 2 plants at a time. The Alien Diesel Berry is a female (on the left) We lst'd them both and will veg a little more while we (hopefully) construct a scrog net. The Quin N Tonic is on the right, it will need some training and some more growth before we can flip the light. These 2 plants will completely fill out the footprint of this tent when we're done, should be a sea of bud....can't wait
