Falconry

  1. The art of Falcon and other birds of prey training. ive always admired falconers but i would have a larger owl. maybe a bird that could take off with a small rabbit or my neighbors chihuahua...

  2. I think falconry is REALLY cool and would love to get into it once I grow up and have a nice patch of my own land. Last summer I rescued a red tail and it road on my lap(everything but it's head wrapped in a towel) for about an hour on the way to the center.

  3. That's super cool, I always thought they used birds that they raised from shortly after birth.
     
  4. Owls are extremely difficult to train.  They're also not as smart as falcons and hawks, lol.  

     it's actually easier to tame an adult raptor, because they bond with you, the babies get the instinct to leave.
