    the amnesia growing nicely.
    everything is lovely.
The Blumats don't work with three gallons. Had a little mess to clean. My tubs worked though.

Im gonna try and dial them in.  I think my roommate screwed up the dial setting.  I don't think he saw the stream coming out of the dripper and running down the stake.  The two he said he touched are the two that ran away.

Just as suspected. I couldn't check the system when I got home because I had fifteen minutes before lights out to clean up.
I just restarted the system and the two run away Blumats were producing a stream. The stream ran down the stake instead of a viable drip. Means way too high. So basically my roommate put them on full blast thinking they were shut off. I reset everything. The pots were sitting in water about half way up the three gallon when I got home this morning. It was like that at least a day. Roots popping out the side of the smart pot! The plants seem to be well though. I feel moisture at the bottoms of the other pots so they got watered at some point. I read it takes a day to dial them in so I should give it more time. I'll be off the whole week so I can monitor it. I only got a day with them before I left for two days.

The plants are growing vertically now. I can tell. The leaves are huge. The autos are def in veg now. And the Super Skunk and Purple are very close.

The Amnesia makes some wikid leaves. It's almost ready to grow. Four real nice shoots. From what I have read this will be the last plant to finish. You can almost tell by the slower but more complex growth. WP_20141127_16_34_29_Pro.jpg

  3. Everythings looking real good man. Subbed.
I always like checkin out a nice closet grow.

  4. Thanks alot!
Welcome.  Im so thrilled.  I think I saw a preflower before I passed out last night.
Lights back on in 15 min

  5. Yeah man, im doin my first grow now and i was so excited to see my first ever preflower.
I haven't come across someone growing with straight LED so this will be interesting. Ive definitely been reading a little bit here and there on LED's and it seems like they can be a huge thing for growers but the cost of them is just crazy high for me.

21 days since the first seed popped.

Yeah I have grown several times before, but never with LED. Just florescent or outside.
It's a flower. The hairs are hard to focus with my phone. WP_20141128_16_25_11_Pro.jpg WP_20141128_16_10_58_Pro.jpg

Never spent a lot of time around my previous grows. This has been neat to watch.

I think the Blumats are working. No water yet which is about right. I'd like to see them drip here soon.

I bought a fan thermostat the other day. Hopefully it arrives today. This thing is gonna be on auto pilot soon.

The purple. What a gorgeous plant WP_20141128_16_12_32_Pro.jpg

The skunk stinks real bad and it so small. WP_20141128_16_12_22_Pro.jpg

The Amnesia. The old leaves are very dark. Big contrast to the bright green growth. WP_20141128_16_12_17_Pro.jpg

Well they are all about three weeks now. Big girl is 23. Like Jordan.
    WP_20141201_19_55_00_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_53_55_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_55_05_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_54_01_Pro.jpg
The shoots were under the fan leaves so I pulled them above.
The white widow auto seems like a good plant for a scrog.

The Purple is gonna be a tree, or it thinks so. WP_20141201_19_54_15_Pro.jpg
Lots of new growth under. A lot larger than the autos.

The super skunk and amnesia had some more training. I got the amnesia going to four points now. It like the bending way more than the topping. WP_20141201_19_54_42_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_54_33_Pro.jpg

The skunk I split the stem vertically making a wound. Should make a nice knot. The one shoot from the topping took it harder. It defoliated that side leaving just the shoot. It should explode in a week after it heals. WP_20141201_19_54_30_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_55_11_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_55_16_Pro.jpg
I've managed to keep the skunk and amnesia under 6". The purple is about 12-14".

All in all everything is good. The new thermostat for the six inch fan is great. Can really balance temp between plant level and above light level. Humidity is good. Humidifier is working out.
I finally got the Blumats dialed in I think. I haven't watered in five days now.
I also planted some organic green velvet tomatoes and some organic sweet basil. WP_20141201_19_54_19_Pro.jpg WP_20141201_19_55_27_Pro.jpg

Man, its really started to smell in the closet. Nothing in the bedroom though. These filters are working well.

  9. Looks great. Glad I'm not the only one that thinks it should go twenty, twenty one, twenty two, Jordan, twenty four...... Lol I say it all the time.

  10. Thanks! That is funny

Nice. The shoots are growing alternate leaf sets instead off opposite ones on two white widows.
Wont be long now. About halfway home. WP_20141204_16_07_36_Pro.jpg

Had a small runoff on one the purple haze Blumat. Nothing big. Caught it early and dialed it back. All in all I am happy with it. Haven't watered by hand since Nov 25. The roots have busted out of most of the pots which is good. The purple has its going down into the pebbles. One is quite large. Hope its not the taproot!
I'd like to look underneath these but I don't wanna move em. View attachment 1634792

I guess the autos are gonna stretch soon.

added some tubes to the grow.
hung red ones over the autos that are now flowering.
had to hang the blues higher than expected. I doubt they are doing much at 30" away. Gonna try and make it lower tomorrow. 1100 watts for both fans and three fixtures. 9 amps.

  17. looking nice! just wondering about the blumat, about how much space does it take up? is it just connected to a container of water?

  18. they are the best thing I have. I have not hand watered since 11/25. The system I use here is fed from the main water line with a pressure reducer. From there it goes through each tub and into each pot with a Blumat maxi through q smart pot near the bottom. From each carrot there are two drippers in the soil. After a week of watching and adjusting it works perfectly. I have had no probs. I have another grow in a tent that will be using the same setup but fed from a bucket. I can't comment on it because its not being used yet. The plants need to be around three weeks old before they can cause enough suction. It is supposed to save a lot of water and keep the soil at optimum levels. I'd say it is.
