San Carlos Mexico question?

Discussion in 'Marijuana News' started by FarmerJames, Nov 4, 2014.

  1. Hey All,

I am a medical patient from Washington State and visiting San Carlos Mexico. I carried enough canna caps to last me on my trip as far as the Mexico border. Even though possession of up to 5 grams is tolerated you still cannot carry anything over the border.

When I have visited other areas in Mexico in the past, weed has been openly available. I expected the same in San Carlos. Not so.... I have not seen a single little shop selling glass or any surfers or Rasta's. All of the things I would look for to guide me to weed in Mexico.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am not looking for any more than the tolerated 5 grams but would prefer chronic.

Also, can anyone give me a hand with the correct Spanish to ask for chronic? My best is: Muy bueno mota par favor? Why did I take German in high school and not Spanish? :)

    Thanks Everyone.

  2. Ask discreetly in a restaurant.
    :smoke:

  3. Thanks for the tip. I have been to Mexico many times over the last 30 years and this is the first time I have had to actively look for weed.

  4. I have only been to Tiajuana and the cali border towns. There is weed all over Tiajuana. Dealers standing out on the side walk selling shwag. I would be very careful who you hook up with in Mexico. If you hook up with cartel and reject thier shwag, the may rob/beat/kill you.

Estoy buscando mota superior. No quiero comprar la pinche basura. Quiero mota de qualidad.

    Good luck!!!

  5. Taxi drivers know whats up.

  6. Thank you Folks.
This is the first time that I have been to Mexico and not been approached and offered "Mota".

I did ask the bartender and our favorite beach hand out and he seemed to be very accommodating. He told me he would go over to Guaymas and pick some up for me. Could I come back tomorrow? I gave him a good tip and went home. Went back the next day. It is enough of a drive that I sat and had a couple of beers on the beach. He then told me that he had not been able to hook up with his guy. Could I come back. I left a good tip and left. Went back later. No luck yet he said. This time no beers and no tip. I am going to give him one more shot.

I went over to Guaymas myself and couldn't find anyplace that looked promising.

I have been here six days and have yet to see a cab. All of the tourists & Expats here drive their own cars.
I will not give up. :)

  7. No luck with the bartender. No luck in Guaymas.

I have not smelled even the faintest whiff of smoke since I have been here. Somebody wit less fear of Mexican Prison than I have should set up shop here. I understand that them most I can have is 5 grams and at this point I would tolerate Turista pricing without a bitch to get that 5g........
