Wet Weed

    My cousin just recently gave me some weed off his plant. It's what I assume very wet, because the stem just bends no breaking. It's still on the stem and has yet to be trimmed. Should I trim it and then hang it upside down or should i just store it in a mason jar for curing already? Basically what I'm asking is how do i know if it's dry enough to be put into a container and start burping it once in a while. As of right now since I'm not entirely sure what to do, I have it hanging upside down in my closet in a dry cool place until i know further on what to do. And is there a possible way to dry it quicker or would that drop the potency?

    It should feel a little dry on the outside of the bud but still spongy when you squeeze it. Make sure it doesn't go above 70 RH in the jar or you may get mold...

    Id keep doing what your doing, but if you want to smoke some till then just break off whats needed and put it under a desk lamp thats about 2-4 inches away from the bud. the gentle heat dries it out without destroying any thc
