Whats up everyone. Welcome to my little corner. I've decided to stop doing individual journals and just keep a single running thread going. So I just finished up my first organic grow link here. HSO's Amherst Sour Diesel, did a mini scrog in a 5gal SIP under a Blackstar240. I'm still in the 2'x2'x3.4' cab though I am upgrading the lighting to a TopLED Mars2 700 (300-380w actual draw) and jumping up to a 10 gal container (only about 8 gal in it, got to leave room for them mulches). The soil I'm rocking now is primarily BAS living soil plus 6 cups of bio char. There is also a bit of CocoLoco mixed in, but I don't know how much. I re-amended the old soil with about a tsp per gal (I think) BAS nutrient mix. I top-dressed with about 4 cups Worm Power and maybe ¼ cup kelp meal. Finally I threw down a layer of the BAS cover crop seeds and some mulch. I stumbled across some GFBA beans recently (huge thanks again, dude ). So I have 6 of those germing (plopped em all straight into the 10 gal pot). I plan to pick out the best male and knock up a clone of each lady I get. I will definitely need some help on picking out traits of true GFBA so I know where my best bet for replicating it is. I also have a WOS NLxSkunk germing in a solo cup; I'll transplant her into the 10 gal once I remove the males. Doin this SOG style! That's about all I've got for now. Stay tuned! Peace!

Hey man. The GFBA are movin along. I was just about to do an update actually. Not a lot to report on this week, just seeds doin seed things.
Update time! Lets start with the old I suppose. The Amherst SD is really starting to take form during the cure. I don't know if I would call it a "fuel like" flavor but its developing a chemical-ish zing to it. The aroma is explosive. Smells like weed that has been dried too fast if you stick your nose in the jar, but pull a bud out and give it a gentle squeeze... watch out. I got in a buddy's car with a gram of that in a baggie, he requested we stuff it in a medicine bottle, spray some cologne, and roll down the windows (seasoned toker too). I still haven't hooked up the Mars2 yet, the flower box was empty so I figured why not veg in there and those 5w diodes might be a little intense for a fresh seedling. I'll probably switch over in a week or two. The cover crop(s) I planted really took off quick. I'm going to have to trim the grasses more frequently than I had thought. I think I dropped these seeds in the shot glass last Saturday. The WOS NLxSkunk was the quickest out of the gates, the GFBA coming up around 3 days later and already beginning to close the gap. 7 seedlings... what am I getting my self into... What up everybody. Posting a few pics tonight. I'm trying to decide when to flip them since I am only running a 2x2 after all. Some time between 2 weeks (the 18th) to 3 weeks I suppose. Probably about time to repot my Amherst SD, 3 months in half of a solo cup of soil, water only... gettin hongray. A few of the GFBA seedlings And the NLxS (it popped 3 days earlier than the rest)
