Hey all I got a clone about a week ago, all was going fine until this morning. I got home from work to find it like this... It's in a bubble bucket but I've taken it out for now in case it's been over watered. There's also a photo of how it was just yesterday. This is my first grow and I really don't want it ending like this
It really wasn't looking so well yesterday either. When you got the clone did it have good root growth? Or did they just cut and you stuck it in there? Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
As in make it into compost or plant it in some haha? I know chances are it's too late but I'll still try anything I can
I've put the plant in some soil and under just a fluro I had for my fish tank and I'll see if it perks up at all, I feel so pathetic haha
Clones leaves are cut so the plant focuses on root growth. The clone is kept in 70 to 80 % humidity so if you got it from someone that had it in a humidity dome without hardening it off to a normal environment, they shrivel up due to dryness.
Should I try to make a bit of a dome to raise the humidity? It still has lots of green growth so if I find what's wrong it could be ok couldn't it?
It seems like the clone was cut incorrectly from the beginning.. As tenacious as cannabis is, I think she's a goner.
That's what I'm thinking I guess back to the drawing board in case it was something I done wrong and I'll invest in some seeds rather than buying clones for this to happen
I like seeds but have taken 12 clones over the last few weeks from my SLH plants. You may try the dome and mist the inside of it 3 or 4 times a day. It may be too far gone to help. If you live anywhere near Denver, I would be happy to load you up with some free clones.

Ph is 6.2 and I'm waiting on my ppm meter to get here, I added nutes but it was 1/10 what the normal dose would be
The leaves are cut because thats what Green and Rosenthal say do in their books on cloning...nothing wrong with cutting the leaves....but cloning is an art as much as a science and the rooting issues are much move vital than the leaves....a single clone failure is but a blip on the screen of life...start again...try again..keep it up....move on....you'll eventually get it right.....try growing from seed
Thanks blood, I've decided I will get seeds and I'm also going to look into my whole approach into this, it definitely sucked but I'm gonna bounce back and the buds gonna be so much better for it
