Las Vegas MMJ Questions

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by ghettohoneybee, Oct 31, 2014.

  1. My cousin who is now 17 was diagnosed about a year ago with depression and has attempted too commit suicide DUE TO his SSRI medication about 2 months ago. He's been took off the medication and has been doing recently better, and I've been getting him high occasionally, and he told me he'd like to get a MMJ card. I know here in Vegas you need parental consent under 18 and he discussed with his parents who have O.K'd it. The thing is, he has no idea about medical marijuana applications and anything like that, nor do I. Is it possible he can talk too his therapist and or doctor about getting medical marijuana for his depression/anxiety. He also has been suffering from migraines and headaches often. Anyhow I'm stoned and getting off track can't think straight. How would he go about getting his MMJ card if he can at all for his depression/ anxiety and pains?
And holy shit I didn't mean too not use any grammar and paragraphing or whatever , excuse me for that.

  2. Nevada's DHHS website says that "(a)ny Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) licensed in Nevada can recommend a patient for the program." Sounds like his doctor (or therapist if he/she is a licensed MD or DO) can recommend MMJ. Here's a link to the site, which describes the process for getting a recommendation.
