If carbon filter says 440 cfm and I have 400 cfm fan is it so post to be less or more? Im debating to get 4 in or 6 in carbon filter. The 4 in carbon filter is 190 cfm. Which would work best or does it matter? I have 4x4x6.5 ft tent I would rather get 4 in carbon filter and get the 4 in to 6 in converter so I could fit with the duct and fan I already have. It would be cheaper than the 6 in carbon filter by itself
Get the larger filter. It will last longer, do a better job and allow more unrestricted air flow from your fan. Generally value for money is better with larger filters. Sent from my iPhone using Grasscity Forum
The filter needs to have a higher flow rate than your fan, otherwise not all the odour will be neutralized. That fan and filter sound well matched...
