  1. Hi Guys.I am new to the wbole idea of growing weed.I am long time smoker.
I have got question relating to ventilation.I am thinkin of venting in to the chimney.I have got metal flue pipe inside chimney stack. We used to have gas fire downstairs,no longer in use.Do i need to cut metel flue and connect it to the ducting???

  2. You're going to have to connect up to it some how so I'd guess so, unless there's an inspection plate somewhere. Sounds like a great idea to me though, wish I had the option. Are you still going to use a carbon filter?

  3. I think so mate.Maybe not at the begging of my grow but defo later.I am living in terraced house. Also using led lamp that my mate made it for me using cree and philips 1 w chips from usa.

  4. I am planning on passive intake from my bedroom.Hoping that should help my to keep stable temp inside insulated ply wood grow box.I will use 4 inch blauberg fan.The only concern i have is a noise.Fan is not tooud about 27 Db.I am going to use 5 inch insulated ducting

  5. One thing I have done is gotten the window spacer from a portable air con unit and put that against a window (obviously) for the exhaust air.  I have one main line for the big tent and another 4 inch pipe going into the 6 inch... both pouring out the window :)  No smell, no worries.  Just get a carbon filter coz when these babies flower... they don't smell like roses.  Some smell like absolute shit lol.  My sour D's are disgusting smelling at the moment.  So you will need odor control if you're in a residential area.  But the air con window mount thing works so f-ing well..
